    This was extremely disappointing. Property Doctors came to me as a referral from a very trusted source and they did not deliver. DO NOT RECOMMEND.I contacted Property Doctors because I found mold under some siding on the back of my house. It was a very small spot but I do not know much about mold and wanted a professional to handle it. I asked a friend who he recommends for mold issues and he said Property Doctors. I called, described the situation, and set up an inspection. On Oct 14, a representative came to my house and did an inspection. The mold spore is about 1 inch by 1 inch (very small). He said that it would be very simple, they just needed to spray and then we could cover it with a specialized paint which helps seal it in. I then asked him how much it would cost and he said a few hundred dollars. I said that this all sounded great (I was worried it would take a few thousand dollars) so I asked him to schedule the spray. He contacted his company and said that they would reach out.I received a call later that day and we scheduled for someone to come out on Oct 20 between 3:00 and 5:00pm. No one showed.On Thursday, Oct 21, I called and asked what happened. She informed me that it somehow did not make it onto the proper calendar and that they would need to reschedule. She asked if I could describe the situation and what service was needed. After I re-described the issue, she then said that they could get someone to my house in two weeks. I told her that I was very disappointed in the service that I had received. She apologized and offered to check her schedule to see if they could get me in sooner so we disconnected with that as the next step. She then sent me an estimate of almost $1,000 to do the work. I called back and spoke to a different female. I asked if the other female was available and she was not. I informed the second woman that the estimate was drastically higher than I was expecting and asked that they call me back to discuss why it was so much higher and to see if a sooner date was available. I even told her that I would not write any sort of negative review as long as they got back to me. After four days of no contact, I contacted another company and got it done for half of what they quoted and completed within 24 hours. Do NOT use this company for mold issues. I do NOT recommend.

    We never completed any work for the homeowner. The appointment on 10/20/21 was for the estimator to assess the portion of the repairs as that needed to be repaired first before we could treat the microbial growth - otherwise, it would continue. However, that did not get added to the schedule (we apologized). The original estimator for the microbial growth was out of town that week. We sent an estimate to clean the microbial growth on 10/21/21 at 2 pm via email and asked him to advise if he would like to move forward. We did not hear back via email and we were not able to start the work until 10/25/21 due to COVID-19 and staffing. The homeowner did call on 10/21/21 at 4:34 pm and spoke to our answering service. The homeowner was hoping to have it done before the weekend as he had a contractor to do the repairs that weekend. I am happy he was able to find a contractor that was more affordable. However, we have not done any work for the homeowner to date, only one site inspection which we did not charge for.

    What is written here as their response is clever. It specifically states that they did not receive a response "via email." That is because I contacted the company via telephone and spoke to multiple people about the estimate. I will gladly produce the phone records if that helps. Frankly, I can understand staffing issues if we were initially scheduling the work but instead they are claiming staffing issues after missing the appointment entirely and then refusing to schedule me any time sooner than 2 weeks. The response is correct in that I did not authorize the work. I was so surprised by the drastic increase in fee from what I was quoted that I did not authorize the work.
