Complaint: There was a collection placed on my credit report in 2012 and reported again in August 2016, This creditor has never initiated contact with me through phone, email, mail or any other means of contact. Although, I have asked numerous times for proof of debt, there has been not one attempt to deliver on my request. If this creditor has good reason to believe that I am in fact liable for the debt, then I would like proof of such. I would like copies of anything verifying that this is in fact my debt or remove the collection from both ********** and ******* immediately. On another note, the address and telephone # that this company has provided on my credit report does not match any information for any of the companies listed here on BBB or any other web search, sounds awfully fishy to me.

Desired Settlement: Removal of the collection from both ********** and *******

We have identified an account that we believe is related to this consumer.  However, as it was assigned to Virtuoso in 2012, the contact information and the name on the account are different.  As a precaution, we have submitted an online deletion with the credit reporting agencies since this consumer has indicated that she was not aware of this account.

We encourage her to contact us so that we can verify the information and determine if this account is indeed the one reported on her credit and to determine if this account is hers.  We have placed the account into a disputed status and it will remain on hold.   We need additional information from her and understand that she may hesitant to provide this via email.  Therefore, she can reach us through any of the following ways:  1) She may call me directly at my office # ###-###-####, 2) she may email me directly at ******************************** or 3) she may call our contact center at ###-###-####. 

We can provide her the address and the service address which was sent to us from the original creditor.  We can advise her of the original creditor and the last name on this account and we can compare last 4 digits of her SSN with the SSN provided by the creditor.

Complaint: I am being billed by a gas company that was not the supplier of my gas. After several attempts, ***** ******** ****** then took the matter to Virtuoso Sourcing Group which is a collection agency.

Desired Settlement: I am being billed for a service or a supply that never happened. I would like for this to be cleared up.

Complaint: I have my identity/credit monitored through a service provided by my place of employment and just received notification that I have an account in the amount of $122 from January 1, 2001???? I have no clue what this is for and have never heard of Virtuoso Sourcing, nor have I been contacted in regards to this 15 year old bill that is supposedly mine? How can they arbitrarily add something negative to my credit report without even contacting me?

Desired Settlement: I want this removed from my credit report as I have absolutely NO knowledge of this, whatever it is.

Business Response:

We are glad to assist this consumer if she has an account on her credit report which references our company.  However, we are currently unable to locate any account with the information she provided.  The best way for her to resolve this is for her to submit a "dispute" with the credit reporting company directly.  They will immediately send it to Virtuoso for confirmation and we will confirm deletion.

If she still would like for Virtuoso to research this, we will need additional information such as previous addresses or names under which the account may have been established.  Also if she can provide the last 4 digits of her SSN and any account numbers or name of original creditor from her credit report.

Complaint: The Credit Bureau is showing false information submitted by Virtuoso Sourcing Group, on all 3 of my Credit Reports. The account # is as follows #*******, the account indicates that I **** ****** owe $1,005.00 to the original creditor: *** ********. I have never opened a *** account, therefore I do not owe such a balance.

Desired Settlement: I would like for the following account #******* to please be removed from all 3 Credit Bureau's, that are reporting to my Credit Reports. If that is not an option, will *** ******** please provide me with a Debt Verification letter. On the letter can you please show all my personal information, including any and all signatures showing proof that I opened such an account. Thank You in advance.

The account which this consumer has referenced was an **** ******** account that was closed with Virtuoso in September 2011.  It was deleted from the credit report at that time.  Since this consumer has indicated that this remains on his credit report, we have submitted an online manual deletion today.  The AUD Reference number is ********.

Should this continue to report, the consumer may dispute it with the credit reporting agency and reference this AUD #.  It will be deleted from his report.

We have no way of knowing whether this debt remains due.  **** ******** recalled the account from Virtuoso in 2011. The consumer will need to contact **** directly to inquire about the status of the account.

Complaint: I called last week about a charge on my bank account that i did not recognize, and spoke to an **** ***** who then told me he was the owner of this company and that i had to send him an email, and state that i did not authorize this transaction and he would issue the refund immediately this is what i sent to him: ******************* Hello, This is the email you asked me to send you. Business Response:

We have reviewed our records which indicate that on 7/6/16 this consumer contacted us to establish a payment to resolve this account.  He provided us with the account number, balance due and his credit card information.  Our agent gave all appropriate disclosures concerning the account and the payment transaction.  He was provided a payment authorization code.

However, as this consumer is indicating that he "did not authorize" this transaction, we will be glad to work with him to resolve his dispute.  We ask that he contact me directly to discuss his requested refund.  Our manager spoke with this consumer and at that time, the consumer indicated that he had planned to dispute the item with his credit card provider.  We must first determine the status of the payment transaction and then are more than glad to fully cooperate with him.

This consumer has also communicated directly with our company.  We are very sorry for his loss and we will be glad to refund the money to the consumer.  The question we have is whether he has "disputed the amount with his credit card company already".  He informed our manager that he intended to do this.  If so, we would refund the consumer and his credit card company would issue a debit to our account.  This would result in a duplication of the refund.   We have sent an email to him requesting clarification and intend to refund the money to his credit card.

Complaint: This company has never contacted me, but has placed $317.00 in collection against my credit report. I have no idea what this could be for, but they have failed to ever mail me or call me in regards to an outstanding bill.

Desired Settlement: I would like to have any legitimate bill emailed to me at the EmaIL I've provided, so I can review the legitimacy of the bill. I want this removed from my credit report immediately since they've not given me a chance to settle any legitimate bill. If this is my bill, I'm prepared to pay in full, AFTER they've removed from my credit completely. This company has a bad reputation for this.

Virtuoso Sourcing Group has no record of an account for this consumer.  However, we were able to locate an active account for an individual with the same last name in California who has a balance owed of $317.00.  Since this may have crossed information through the credit reporting companies, we have taken the initiative to delete this account from the credit reporting system. 

Without additional information from this consumer, we are not able to take further steps to assist her.  She is welcome to contact me directly by phone, fax or email to follow up on this.

We would need any of the additional following information to assist us in matching our record with her report:  1) a copy of the credit report, 2) the original creditor listed, 3) the original creditor's account number or the Virtuoso account number, 4)Any names that she could be listed under such as a former name, 5) the last four digits of her SSN.

This ****** account was assigned to Virtuoso on 6/14/16 and has not been credit reported by Virtuoso at all.  The account has been placed on HOLD and we have mailed this consumer a copy of his billing statements from ****** which show what this balance is for.  The account will remain in a disputed status so that he will have an opportunity to review this information. 

If he is interested in settling this for less than the full amount, we have been authorized by ****** to accept 60% of the balance due and will then close the account as Settled.  If he would like to discuss this further, he may contact me directly either by email to ******************************** or by phone to ###-###-####.

Complaint: I recently paid a debt through which another company is also charging me for the same debt. In the website the company is advertising 30% off, I took advantage of the offer but the company still charge me for the 30% and placed in my credit report as collection.

Desired Settlement: I need the company to follow through with the offer and removed off my credit. Also the company is not license to collect in Florida I found, they should have not pug me on collection especially if another collector was already assigned to the account.

Our records indicate that tbis consumer paid his aaccount in May and he did pay a reduced settlement amount.  However, since the account was not fully satisfied, the account reported as "settled for less than the full amount".  Since he has expressed that he was not aware that this would not fully close the account and ensure no credit reporting, we appreciate that he has paid the remainder.  Due to this misunderstanding, we have deleted the account from the credit report.  The AUD reference # for this deletion is ********.

Since this consumer mentions that another company was "charging him with the same debt", we must assume that this pertains to the prior collection agency that Sprint had placed the account with.  This was assigned to Virtuoso on 3/23/16 and at that time, the prior agency should have deleted the account from the credit report.  When he paid us on 5/18/16, we were initially unaware that this consumer had opted to pay a reduced settlement amount online. We will review the call with the agent who he spoke with and provide any additional training as appropriate.  It is our goal to resolve misunderstandings when they occur.  As previously stated, we have deleted the account from the credit report and believe that this should resolve this matter.

Complaint: On 3/15/2016 I received a letter from Virtuoso Sourcing stating that I owed 63.60 for account 7332722. On 3/21 I mailed them a letter disputing the validity of the debt which was received and signed for by a D. ******* on 3/24/16 at 9:47 am and I have yet to receive any verification of debt that I requested and they still listed it on my credit report as of 4/1/2016 which is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act as well as Texas Finance Code 392.202. The letter that they sent to me was also addressed to a name similar to mine but not spelled the same. This collection needs to be removed from my credit report as it is not mine.

Desired Settlement: I want this collection removed from my credit report.

Complaint: I spoke with someone based on a collection letter I received because of ADT. ADT had terrible service that I never used so I opted to cancel my service. They were going to charge me the full amount of the contract and I could not pay that but was un happy with the provided service. They in turn sent me to collection with Vitruoso. I was told that if I paid the principal balance and sent a letter as to why I would not pay in full, and I was told as long as I did that, it would be settled and not reflected on my credit. I checked my report today and it is reflecting as well as hurting my credit score. I called Virtuoso and they told me I would have to pay an additional $820 to get it deleted off of my credit report. I am so upset that they lied to me. I would have never paid the "settlement" if they weren't going to follow through on what they said. The person I spoke with today said he would have it done as a courtesy for the $820 because of what the last representative lied to me about.

Desired Settlement: I want this deleted from my credit immediately. That is what I was promised by the representative the first time I called. I am not paying anything additional to this company!!

Our records show that we received a letter of dispute from this customer on 4/12/16 which was forwarded to ADT for their review.  This account includes a past due balance for services provided and a "balance of contract" for the cancelled contract before the end of the 3 year period.   The amount paid was the amount for past due services.  And many ADT customers choose to resume service so that they can 1) have the benefit of security service and 2) utilize the contract if they have to pay for it anyhow.  If this consumer wishes to apply for resumed service, we will be glad to assist them and follow up with ADT.  We do not control that policy - it is the policy of the original creditor, ADT.  

However, we have placed the account into a disputed status, we will refrain from further collection effort and have removed it from the credit report.  We believe that this will provide the consumer an opportunity to determine how she wishes to resolve this matter.  She may also contact me directly if she has further questions or concerns. Complaint: This company is harassing me, an older woman, by calling me every day on my cell phone at all hours, for almost a year. When I answer the phone, the company: 1) doesn't answer when I pick up, 2) leaves a dial tone when I pick up, 3) doesn't answer when I return the call to tell them to stop calling, 3) or argues with me in on the phone that they have the right to call and talk to me about some random guy named "*******." I have explained: 1) I am not *******, 2) I don't know any ******* 3) No ******* has ever lived here for the past 33 years, 4) and they are to stop calling. The company continues to call and call. Today the very confused caller said he has the right to call me, and he just wants to talk to me. I'm nervous they might be using my cell phone number for some illegal activity--perhaps making calls elsewhere using my number as some sort of ghost? I finally got through to this supposed company today, and they say they are busy and don't answer their phones, and maybe it's just a computer calling, and why would I put up with this for a year? What nonsense. This "collection agency" sounds like a harassing hoax to me.

Desired Settlement: My complaint needs to be on file. I do not want even one more call on my private cell phone from these frauds.

We have reviewed this consumer's complaint and attempted to match her phone number with our account records for an individual named ******* that has the same or a very similar phone number in our system.   We have been unable to locate a record that has or had her phone number on it.

How can you put something on someone's credit report without notifying them. I never received anything. Complaint: After paying this amount to another collection agency, Virtuoso Sourcing Group without warning, put this amount on my credit report as unpaid. In June of 2014, I had to move from the address of the bill in question. Unfortunately, I was financially unable to pay my final DP&L bill until after it had been sent to the collection agency, Contract Callers. At that time, I had made a payment arrangement to have Contract Callers take one third of the amount owed out of my bank account every two weeks for 3 payments. As shown on a screen shot of my bank account, I paid them $44.51 three times to bring my account to $0.00. It was paid in full as of August 22, 2014. On June 16, 2015, I received a letter from Affiliated Credit Services telling me that I owe $140.69 because my account for my final bill at the address was placed for collection with the company. I immediately looked up my bank statement online and took a screen shot. I then called Contract Callers to ask what account of mine they had in August of 2014. They looked up my information and told me that it was the bill for DP&L. I explained that they had sent it to another collection agency and asked the representative if she could fax or email me proof of what account it was for. She replied that they do not email or fax information but if I give the new collection agency (Affiliated Credit Services) their phone number, they would be more than happy to give them the information over the phone. On September 19, 2015, I checked my credit score and found that Virtuoso Sourcing Group had put $141.00 past due balance on my credit. This was applied on August 31, 2015. I never received a letter or call stating this company would put something on my credit. I immediately called Virtuoso Sourcing Group and I was told by an unnamed rep to "just pay it and get it over with, that would be the smart thing to do". I refused as I have already paid this amount. On September 21, 2015, I faxed a copy of an explanation letter along with a copy of my bank statement showing that it has been paid in full. I have called 3 times, every time, I am told, "we are waiting for DP&L to reply to us". After getting that response for the 3rd time today, 11/24/2015, I called DP&L to ask. They said the only collection companies they associate with is Affiliated Credit Services and they do not know why these other companies would have it. I am currently pursuing the other company in which I have paid.

Desired Settlement: I want this amount to be cleared and taken off of my credit report in it's entirety.

Complaint: I was never contacted by this agency before they placed a supposed account in collections. I have no outstanding bills with original company. I moved out of my apartment that's power was through ************ ***** and ***** in June of 2014. I paid my last bill in full at their main office with the bank statement to show proof of this. I then checked my credit just recently and I saw that there was a collection on my account from Virtuoso. I was never contacted by this agency and after attempting to contact this agency, there seems to be no account present with them either as they can not find my account. The original company that the bill was from also shows no past due statements. However, there is a collection on my credit report for this amount and now when I call their 888 number I have waited on hold for over 1 hour with no answer over 4 times.

Desired Settlement: Collection removed from my credit report as their is no outstanding balance and no attempt by the agency to even attempt to collect 'a debt' before turning it over to the credit bureau.

Complaint: Virtuoso added a collection account to my credit report without sending proper validation. I received a collection notice from Virtuoso Sourcing Group dated June 25, 2015 notifying me that they had purchased a debt that they intend to collect on unless I provide them a letter of dispute within 30 days. On July 10, 2015 they received my certified letter requesting validation of this account. They received my letter well within the specified 30 days. However, apparently Virtuoso Sourcing Group added this collection item to my credit report before responding to my dispute. This is a clear ***** violation. I responded to their notice well within the timeframe required by law, and they blindsided me anyway. Well this is unacceptable. I am requesting that Virtuoso Sourcing promptly request deletion of this account XXXXXXX. I have in my possession all documentation necessary to prove my case should I have to present this matter in a courtroom before a jury in my community. I am however, making every effort to resolve this matter outside the courtroom.

Desired Settlement: Promptly delete the illegal collection item from my credit report.

Complaint: I have been receiving harassing phone calls and a letter from Virtuoso that I owe a debt I do not owe I have been receiving harassing calls from Virtuoso Sourcing Group LLC for months now. I finally received a letter yesterday (8/26) indicating that I owe 53.63. I have asked in writing for the verification of the debt and for the name and address of the original creditor.(8/27) I am writing to further guarantee that this issue is resolved quickly and that it is not put on my credit report. I had a similar issue with another credit management company last year and it took a year to solve the issue after I sued. I am taking steps to ensure this does not happen again.

The entry is specific to an alleged $2775.00 debt by ******* I do NOT have account with ****** nor EVER had any business relations with ******* Alleged account with ****** was obviously fraudulent which used my address from 18 years ago. When I contacted Virtuoso Sourcing and reviewed info collection account info representative (name noted)agreed that I am a victim of a fraud or mistaken identity. But representative would not do ANYTHING in order to resolve the matter. I was referred to contact ****** instead. This is unacceptable practice of NOT doing the work and re-search the collection agency should have done in the first place, prior to messing u my credit record!

I have never received any type of documentation for this debt nor has anyone tried to contact me in regards to this matter. - I called their customer service several times only to be left with the option to pay the balance of a collection I am unaware of or continue to hold. Hold times have been 15 -20 min and I just hang up.

Desired Settlement: Delete from all of my credit bureaus as I was unaware of this debt. Contact me and validate that the debt is mines. If the debt is truly mines I will pay it in full. Its just not fair to place something on a persons credit report before you contact and notify them that they have a debt and where the debt came from.

Complaint: My ****** account is a zero balance. I have documentation for this and this company has never contacted me. I filed a complaint on BBB about my ****** account last year. The issue was resolved and the documentation even shows from a ****** representative that the account balance is zero. Even after the fact, ****** claimed to show I had a balance and sold the bill to 3 separate collection agencies. After each one contacted me, I would provide the documentation once I received the collection notice in the mail and the collection agency would send it back to ****** because there is no grounds for collections. This particular collection agency has not contacted me through mail nor have they given me the opportunity to provide the documentation I have. Instead, they violated ******* *********** for consumers and submitted the collection to all 3 of my credit bureaus. I can provide the documentation needed but I need my credit scores corrected and this supposed bill I owe cleared or will be forced to file a suit for damage to my credit along with not following ******* ********** notifying the consumer of the collections attempt.

Desired Settlement: Again, I want this fixed on my credit report immediately and since you never contacted me and I can provide the documentation, you can contact ****** and have my bill that is a zero balance corrected on their end as well.

Virtuoso's response statement to my harassment claim is a confirmation of the harassment by Virtuoso. Virtuoso's admission of harassment is evident with the contrasting statements to BBB in their reply: "And our records indicate that we have not had contact with this consumer" - and _ "We are glad to honor her request and there will be no further contact from Virtuoso." Virtuoso both admits and denies the harassment in their reply statement. I confirm the harassment by Virtuoso. Complaint: Harrassing phone calls. Asked to stop calling and they continue. I have never heard from them until I called back today. Had no idea who they are. I have received numerous calls from them over the past week and they never leave a message. I finally called back today. I spoke to ***** and it took forever for him to tell me who he was calling for. I asked why they never left a message and he said they were not at liberty to leave messages. I asked how are they at liberty to call then. My number was recently changed and they did not get my number in a correct manner. The agency that they are collecting for ******** does not even have this number. I've asked for them to stop calling me and they continue to do so. I told them I will only deal with ****** and he said no. You have to deal with them. They closed my account and will not do anything else. However, I send my payments and they apply to my account. I don't know when they received my account from ******* but they have never sent ANY correspondence through mail and they are not the agency on my credit report. I assume fraud if they cannot provide documentation in writing. He continued to talk over me and I finally told him to stop calling. He asked if that was a threat. I told him no. It's a fact. Not to call me again that I will not deal with them, ever and will only deal with ******* He continued to ask if it's a threat over and over again. Then asked if I wanted to speak to the supervisor. I told him no, because we have nothing else to discuss. Again, told them not to call me again. 30 minutes later, they called again and again left no message. I have now blocked them through my cell phone carrier because the harrassing calls were getting ridiculous.

Complaint: This company refused to accept my information that proved I was the incorrect consumer in this debt. Although I explained in full that I had never lived in the town where the utility debt occurred, that I had never even driven through the town, and I fuly explained that I had never purchased utilities from the company providing service to the address where I had never abided, this company refused to accept my information and reverse the debt collection efforts, including but not limited to notifying the credit bureaus that a 'collection' had not been instituted under my name by the aforesaid utility company. I do not believe Virtuoso Sourcing Group is an ethical company who uses legitimate and commonly practiced collection efforts. I easily verified with the utility company that the collection agency had sent the letter of collection to the wrong person. They assured me that they knew that I did not owe them any money whatsoever. I explained that I had previously contacted the Sheriff in the town of the debtor due to receiving a letter from the utility company several years ago in regard to an account in the town of record, and that I had never lived in the town or utilized services from the utiity company. This had no strength in defusing the collection agency's

Desired Settlement: Although I gave the Virtuoso Sourcing Group sufficient information to refute that I was the correct person to be contacted in regard to the specific debt, they refused to accept my information and to close the collection account. I told them I had never lived in the town of service associated with the debt, that I had lived in another state for over three years, and, therefore could not have amassed the debt during the time period specified in the complaint. I told them that I had paid every utility bill I ever had in full when I moved from a particular home and that I maintained the same telephone number for the past twelve years so anyone who needed to contact me in regard to an unpaid debt could easily have done so. These facts had no effect on Virtuoso Sourcing Group's determination to continue to harass me and to make overt attempts to collect monies that I did not owe and that I had easily proven that I did not owe. Supervisory personnel from the utility company verified with me that I was not the correct consumer in regard to this overdue account. Nevertheless, Virtuoso Sourcing Group made no effort to reverse their misdirected collection efforts.

Virtuoso Sourcing has violated FCRA and other debt-collection laws by improperly placing an entry into my credit. The entry is specific to an alleged $810.00 debt. I do NOT owe the alleged debt. I refuse to pay the alleged debt. The alleged debt is reportedly Medical, and all of my medical billings during the past several years have been paid and documented by the ********** of ******** ******* ***** I retain all documentation from the ********** of ******** ******* **** identifying all payments have been made directly to original medical providers. ******** who are with the ** ****** ****** do not pay original medical providers directly, and ******** do not facilitate the payments, either. ******** do not pay collections agencies, either. ******** DO receive detailed documentation from the ********** of ******** ******* **** that identify payment(s). Payments made by the ** to hospitals, specialists involved, and other medical providers are to be considered as payment in full. There is no question to that fact, which is also annotated in ***** ** of the ******* ****** Most importantly: Virtuoso had not contacted me prior to their placement of the alleged debt into my credit report. As an unusual twist, this very same alleged debt was recently disputed by me when it surfaced through a collection-agency letter that is (reportedly) NOT affiliated with Virtuoso Sourcing. In essence, 2 separate collection agencies attempting to collect on the same alleged debt at the very same time. I've already disputed the matter with the first collection agency, *************** and I'll seek damages through FCRA and the ******* ******** ********** ****** against that ************** agency. Following my successful dispute with ************* it is my intent to then move forward with subsequent complaints to the appropriate agencies about the violations of Virtuoso. I may also move forward with an action in a **** ******** ***** against one or both of the collection agencies ************* and Virtuoso) if it should become necessary.

Desired Settlement: A prompt removal of the adverse record that had been improperly placed by Virtuoso Sourcing into my credit report, (which violates law), along with a letter from Virtuoso to me that identifies the adverse-record removal. Noteworthy: I'm a member of a credit-monitoring service, and I'll watch for the removal action as well.

I spoke with ****** ******* from the company a team lead, he told me that he would send me an email on 4/21/15 at 9:15 am and said it WOULD have my paid in full letter and I would receive it in 30 minutes, so I waited and STILL have yet to receive that email so I then called back ****** refused to speak to me so another team lead got on the phone and mind you this is the lady that initially took my payment for this account who told me it would only take 24/48 hours to get a receipt, she got on the phone and proceeded to tell me she doesn't know when I'll be cleared to register for school because they are waiting for authorization from the state of Colorado now. As of 4/24/15 this is still being reported on all 3 credit files. I take pride in paying my bills on time and having excellent credit.

Complaint: I was turned over to a collection agency by Sprint Cell Phone company for the amount of $95.00 I was called by this collection agency for the amount of $222.35. I was told that I could give them a credit card or a bank draft from my account for 133.41. I told them I did not do credit cards or bank drafts, but if they would send me an invoice I would get a money order and mail it to them. At first I was told by one of their employees that they would send one, but it would take at least three weeks, next I was told by a supervisor that it would only take five days, next I was told by a supervisor that they would not sent invoices and did not accept money orders that I could only pay over the phone. I called virtuoso and they told me that they sold this account to another creditor and that they would remove this debt from their system and my credit report. I called the new creditor and paid off my **** ******** debt. That creditor is not showed as paid off on my credit report, while virtuso is still on there and they DO NOT HAVE MY ACCOUNT ANYMORE. I have called and they still show my account open and it still appears on my credit report.

Complaint: Virtuoso Sourcing Group A couple months ago I filed a complaint with a different collection company in regards to a ****** Collection Account that they reported to my credit report without sending me a notice about the account/Bill. I have no knowledge of this ****** account and question the validity of this account. I made a claim for the collection company to remove this collection until proof was mailed to me about this account. The collection company removed this account and never sent any paperwork showing the validity of this account. I never heard from that company again. The previous collection agency that had this account never sent me a dunning notice so I could properly dispute the account, they just reported. Once I filed a claimed with the BBB they removed the said account from my credit report but never sent me any type of paperwork to validate this account. Instead they sold it to Virtuoso Sourcing Company who has done the same. Fast Forward to today, I received a notification that a new collection was added to my Equifax report. I checked and seen they Virtuoso Sourcing Group has now bought this collection account and has reported it to my credit report in the amount of $1,298. Once again I did not receive a notice about this account. If I Had I would of requested more information about the account. It seems that the last collection company deleted this account from my credit reports, never sent the papers I requested showing this account is mine and sold this account to Virtuoso who also did the same. Never sent me any notices and reported without properly notifying me and validating the account Because Virtuoso didn't send me a notice about this account I didn't have the 30 days to dispute this account like I have a right too. It is my right to receive proper notices and paperwork about this account and paperwork to show it is indeed my account. Instead this account just keeps being sold to different collection agencies who report this account to the credit reporting agencies without sending me notices Or paperwork showing me that this account indeed belongs to me. Virtuoso Sourcing Group did not give me the right to dispute this account with them because they never sent a notice about the account or even telling me that they now own the account. I don't have much information even about the account besides what is listed on my credit report and all I see is the account number starts with ***

Desired Settlement: Please delete the account mentioned above from all credit reporting agencies especially Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion and/or stop reporting until proper paperwork is sent to me.

Complaint: The company has not provided a collection notice to me. I have confirmed the correct address. I have been receiving calls from this company since at least December 3rd. I informed them that once I received written notice from them, I would discuss the matter with them. Until that time, I would not be discussing this matter with an as yet unknown company in order to keep my identity and financial information secure. I have yet to receive written notice. By law, notice should have been sent no later than Dec. 8th, five days after their first contact with me. I should have received it by now, Dec 19th.

Complaint: ****** ****** & ****** ****** were both very rude, and lied to me multiple times. They also accused me of stall tactics on a debt and tax garnishment. The customer service I have encountered with Virtuoso is non-existent. I have been called over 20 times in one day, and when I answer the phone there is no one there. Tonight, 12-2-14, a ****** ****** answered. She was very rude, and accused me of stall tactics when I informed her that I had never heard of her company, nor received anything via the US Mail informing me of a debt with them. The call escalated, and I asked her for her supervisor or lead. She lied and told me she was "the only one there", but I could clearly hear at least one other voice in the background. She refused to send me anything in writing, and I had to be forceful in order to get her Supervisor's name form her. When I spoke to ******, her boss, he refused to listen to me, did not want to give his boss's information and did not want to send me any further information via US mail. He did email me something, but he was also very rude; expecting me to "check my email" from my cell phone while driving. He continually asked how I was going to resolve the debt, and threatened me with having my tax refund garnished in the new year. I finally had my mother call the company, because I was so angry and driving, do get the company's information. I hope, that this company does not treat all the people they speak to on the phone they way they spoke to me. I fully intend to pay any debt that I owe, but I will not speak to either ****** or ****** again, and I will no longer accept any phone calls from the X-XXX-XXX-XXXX number.

I have no idea who these people are but what I do know is my loan was denied. Credit bureaus say haven't been informed Complaint is in regards to a collection account placed against on 1/14/2014 by Virtuoso Sourcing Group in the amount of $113 due to a unpaid bill to ************ ***** & ****** The issue stems from me not receiving the original bill from *** due to mailing address error. I moved to a new location and even though I formally changed my mailing address, I never received bill nor was I aware of being billed. This was in 2012. The first knowledge that I gained of the bill was checking my credit report on 8/02/2014. It showed the account as placed for collection on 1/14/2014 and then updated on 3/10/2014. When I saw the account, I immediately contacted *** to inquire about the account. I was informed that it was incorrectly paid by another customer but corrected in Dec. of 2013. Once the *** rep confirmed that it was indeed my account, the rep offered me the opportunity to pay the account and that they would contact Virtuoso Sourcing Group to have the account removed from my credit reports on the basis of the mailing and billing errors. The account was paid on 8/22/2014. I have since checked with all three credit bureaus about the account and they all informed that Virtuoso Sourcing Group denied removal of the account. Much to my frustration, disappointment; it was extremely disheartening to say the least being that I, along with my fiancee, are expecting our 3rd child and looking to buy our first house. This is my only collection account on my credit reports and it is dramatically hurting my credit reports, scores and chances of financing a home. My first complaint with Virtuoso Sourcing Group is that I never received of collection from them before the reported the debt. Secondly, I take great issue with the fact that they denied/ rejected the agreement that I had with *** to allow removal of the account from my credit report.

Complaint: My credit score was severely damaged due to a collection posting from this company for a bill they have yet to prove I owe I checked my credit score the end of May 2014 as I am in the process of buying a house to discover that I had a severely delinquent account placed by Virtuoso on my report from a supposed Direct TV bill in April. I immediately contacted Virtuoso to discuss the matter. The first person I spoke to was absolutely no help so after demanding to speak to a manger I talked with ****** who on the phone was very helpful. After explaining the Direct TV account I had and the particulars of the information he had from Direct TV and the fact that I hadn't lived in my home connected with the account for 6 months it was impossible for the things that Direct Tv had reported to them to have happened. He told me he would call me the next week to discuss after he had researched this account. He did not call me as he had stated so I called him back to have him then tell me to send a dispute letter and he had done nothing to resolve the matter since we had spoken. I had to do so via fax as they could not accept email its 2014 really? I did so on June 12th. It is now 10 days later and I have not received any confirmation he received the fax (I have confirmation of it being sent) and what he is doing about it. When I tried to call back I was sent to voice mail. I have to date not received one single notice of these funds being due to Direct TV or any correspondence in any form that Virtuoso was trying to collect these funds. I truly feel that this is a matter of a clerical error or that I still have ongoing issues of identity theft concerning this home and accounts associated with it. I have asked for proof of the alleged payment and by whom that was received in 2013 months after I had moved and the account was suspended until I moved into my new home. I do not understand how it is legal to place such a damaging mark on a persons credit without proof and trying to resolve the issues. This is going to cost me thousands in interest payments over an $83 debt I supposedly owe. I even asked if I paid it (I do not owe it but to save the interest payments due from lowering my credit it was a fleeting thought) how long would it take them to remove the report and I was told it would never be removed it would simply be a debt collected on my report for years to come. This is wrong and is holding the consumer hostage, guilty before proven innocent. I demand proof of the payments and by whom and of the bill I supposedly owe.

This is a NEW phone# for me, and I can't tell them anything because they call with a recorded message from a PRIVATE caller, so I do not know their phone number, but I am NOT the one with the debts! I want these calls to STOP! They call late at night and at any time during the day several times a day! That is NOT fair to me. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS to STOP them from calling my phone number! People that get calls from debt collectors end up getting rid of their phone numbers, and then the people that take on these phone numbers end up getting the calls that are NOT even for or about them! That is what is happening to me and I do NOT appreciate it! I want it to STOP NOW!

Complaint: I was told more than once that no charges would be made to my account until May 30th, 2014; I was charged 401.35 on May 23rd. On May 22nd, 2014. I received a call stating I owed around $600 for a Sprint bill, I was speaking with representative, **** ****** He provided me with the file number: XXXXXXX. Mr. ***** was completely understanding when I told him I would not be able to make the payment in full because of the anniversary of my brother's death, my family and I are taking a trip to Mexico to release some of his ashes and I needed money to travel. He was very helpful in lowering my payment to $396. I was grateful and agreed to pay this on the 30th. I believed the call was very successful. The next day the 23rd, there was a charge on my bank account for $401.35 from Virtuoso. As you can imagine I was furious. I've been trying to contact them and I get no proactive response, their automated system cannot verify my identity. I'm not being asked to provide a file number which is the only information I have. My understanding is that the $401.35 charge is still pending on my account, I don't believe Virtuoso will complete the transaction until the 30th. But because I have that pending charge I am unable to access that money from my account. This disables me from paying my bills prior to my trip to Mexico or having any money to travel with. It's honestly just hurtful that I explained my situation to Mr. ***** and he reassured me no money would off my account until the 30th, and I was being lied to even when I was being compliant. Also, I was being told I would be charge $396, I'm unsure of why the charge is $401.35. It isn't much of a difference but when I'm being asked to paid something I like to know what all charges are.

Desired Settlement: All I ask is that Virtuoso remove that pending charge from my account until the day they told me, I had to pay it. I don't know if there is a way to expedite this but this mess of things has ruined my ability to properly grieve my brother's death. I am running around trying to fix this and figure out how to come up with money to pay my bills and pay for gas and hotels rather than focusing on what is most important to me.

Complaint: ******** processed a payment after agreeing reschedule for two weeks later, and refused to cooperate with my bank to unfreeze the pending amount. My account was given to ******** for collection. I spoke with rep (*******)& explained I was awaiting my tax check and would pay them in full when it arrived. She pressured me to set up future pay depite my stated concerns that I had no way of knowing for certain it would arrive on time. She told me if it didn't arrive I could contact them and change the date for the payment. My check did not arrive on time, so I called them them 4/11/14 to request they process payment later. I spoke with a rep who verified with the supervisor (Eric) they would not process until 4/**/14. But next day my bank account listed it as a pending transaction along with an NSF fee of $**. I tried to get through to ******** over the weekend, but automated system kept blocking me. This left me without any funds for the weekend. On Monday morning, 4/14/14, I called ******** to inquire. Another rep spoke with me and explained the payment had been processed before they could stop it. After speaking to him for a while and getting nowhere, I asked to speak to a supervisor. Bernadette is the supervisor who got involved in the call. She immediately approached the situation with extreme defensiveness, cutting me off many times when I tried to speak. In fact, I even asked her to speak with me with the same calm tone and respect with which I was speaking to her. She acknowledged that everything I said was true, but said I should have called them sooner to request a later payment processing date. I conceded that I knew it was a risk when I called, but that neither the rep nor the supervisor indicated that there was any risk of that once they told me it would not be processed until the **th. Bernadette told me that they had taken the payment out of the system and would not be running it through again, but would continue trying to collet the debt. I told her I still intended to pay it in full as soon as I received my tax check. I told her I wanted them to unfreeze the payment hold on my account and pay the NSF fee. She (very abruptly and rudely) told me that I needed to speak with my bank since ******** had stopped future payment processing. In total I spent about twenty minutes on the phone with her, during which it seemd her objective was to make me cry. She succeeded. Upon her advice, I then called my bank, who did remove the NSF fee, and gave me a fax number and a list of four things they would need ******** to fax them on letter head, in order to release the hold on my account. I called and spoke with another rep, and requested to speak with Bernadette again. I explained what my bank needed,& she put me on hold to check into it. She was not rude at that point. She did, however, mention that she checked the records and on the 11th, her rep found out they couldn't stop the payment and tried to let me know. I still do not know what she meant by "tried to let me know". I have no missed calls on my cell phone, which is the only number used in our conversations,& is verified by them each time I call. They did not try to contact me. When she came back from checking on my request for the fax to be sent to my bank, she informed me that they could not do that. She said that my bank could call them, but they would not release the hold for a mandatory thee business days due to the NSF when they tried to run it through on the 11th. I explained that I didn't think this was fair since it was their error to begin with. She corrected me and said it was my error. She gave me the name and number of the person who she spoke to (****** ****** *** ***-****)& said my bank could call, but they would not agree to the release yet. I tried calling that number several times, but received only voicemail for ***** *****. I left a message that it was urgent that I speak to her. At this point, I have heard nothing back. My bank won't call them. So it looks like I have been locked out of my own money from Friday to Wed or Thurs, and I have no money for food and gas. They are unsympathetic.

Desired Settlement: Since my bank paid the NSF fee, I no longer need that returned from Virtuoso. I would like them to give my bank the requested info so I can access my own money ASAP. I don't suppose that will happen in a timely fashion, and I assume that by the time this gets any attention, I will have access. So I am not sure what is fair after leaving me without any funds for five days. At this point, I am not sure how I will get groceries for my children until the funds are released. I suppose I will figure that out. I will also still pay my debt in full when my tax check arrives in a couple of weeks. I am not asking for anything monetary. I guess what I really want is an apology and an admission of wrong-doing. I would also like assurance that the reps and the supervisors will receive training to stop this from happening again. I would also like for Bernadette to receive conflict resolution training so that she does not treat anyone again like she treated me. I realize that they are probably accustomed to dealing with hostile people in that industry, but she needs to learn how to speak with someone who isn't hostile, but is just trying to resolve an issue. I have written them a letter explaining my dispute, only to get a letter back from Direct TV saying I owe them $207.35. I also received a settlement from Virtuoso back in 2013 for 65% of the bill.Which would be the approx the amount I feel I do owe. $124.41. Plus how can Direct TV send me a letter when they are no longer the owners of this debt just the original creditor. I need this issue resolved. It is ruining my life. I have been trying to find housing and due to this collection it is difficult. I know I owe DTV for service but again it is incorrect. Im to the point to hire a pro bono lawyer since I am a senior citizen and on a fixed income who is willing to pay what I feel I owe.

Complaint: Dispute of charges by the original creditor are being denied and thus rendering the current amount being collected on behalf of Virtuoso invalid. I had service with Directv (account number XXXXXXXXX).Client Ref# is XXXXXXXX. Around 31st July 2012 I lost my job with my then employer. I wanted to suspend my Directv Account, but Directv would not allow me unless the account was at a zero balance. The balance was 75 dollars. Due to the terms of my unemployment I was unable to receive unemployment benefits. Due to the fact I had very little "buffer money" to cover current and upcoming expenses including car payments, housing payments, and utility bills, I was unable to satisfy the amount on the account in order for it to be suspended. I pleaded with Directv to override the policy, but they stated it was entirely electronic and overriding it was impossible. I spent over a week on the phone with Directv asking for help, but they were unable to provide it. Also during the period of billing, I had a room mate staying with me, this room mate ordered almost $200 worth of PPV movies without my consent. Directv was unwilling to waive any charges. If someone steals a person's credit card, the person is not liable for the charges. However Directv stated it was my fault "I left the remote laying around". Here is the copy of an email I sent Directv's office of the president in September of 2012, asking for my account to be suspended so I could catch up on billing. ----------------------------------------- Customer By Email(Entered by DIRECTV) - 09/19/2012 01:15 PM My name is *** ****** and my Directv account number is XXXXXXXXX. I am broke, and if Directv continues to bill me, it's going to make my situation a lot worse. -*** ----------------------------------------- Directv continued to bill my account for almost 4 months, and added an ETF charge. This brought the balance owed to $1,035. I cannot even get a loan to purchase a better used card, as the current car I drive needs a substantial amount of repairs that cost more than the car's value. I feel that this collection account is severely impacting my ability to better myself as a person and provide a decent future for myself. Since the original creditor (Directv) is unwilling to work for me, I ask for Virtuoso to make this right. I am completely out of options at this point.

All they provide is a date of service and amount. Virtuosos states cannot give due to HIPPO law, Pendrick states cannot due to HIPPO law. I called ******* directly and my bill is current and they never sent me to collections. Also, Virtuoso reported that I live in ********* Pennsylvania-I have never lived outside of Wisconsin. I have been at my current address for almost 17 years. I tried to contact them several times and I only get voice mail and they don't return my calls. I tried filing a complaint with transunion but they say the information is correct. I want this off of my credit report. I have never been behind on any of my bills in my life-which is reflective of the accurate information on my credit report. This is completely false information and they do not want to deal with it. This needs to be corrected immediately.

I'm not sure if someone is trying to steal my identity but I have not had issues with anything else other than this. He asked me for more time and I said "Can you take care of this matter as soon as possible" because I was planning on putting a stop to the payment. But then I though about it and said to myself "if I make a stop payment they will for sure report me to the credit bureau", so instead I decided to make a complaint to the BBB. I would greatly appreciate your help on this matter because I would not want this to happen to anybody else, especially when they are retired or don't have the money and have to live within their means. Complaint: They put false information on my Credit Report. They claim I owe a utility company ************* ***** & ****** $244, but I have never lived there. Virtuoso Sourcing Group LLC posted on my Credit Report that I owe a utility company in ************ $244 and that they are attempting collection. First, I have never lived outside of ********* and have no knowledge of this account they are falsely claiming is mine. Second, they apparently posted the false collection claim earlier this year on my credit report, but have never contacted me about this account or attempted to collect anything from me. I found out about it by checking my credit report. When I disputed this false claim with the credit agencies, Virtuoso Sourcing Group LLC insisted it had the correct information and refused to remove it from my credit report. I have had incorrect information from a ***** ** ******* in ************ posted to my credit report in the past (late ****** and that was concluded to be fraud and removed at that time. I have proof of continuous employment in ********* at the same employer for over 13 years. I have never lived in ************* nor have I had a need for utility services there. My home is mortgaged and I have lived there for seven years in ********** Either this company is committing fraud or whoever this bill belongs to committed fraud/identity theft, but I have never contracted with or applied for an account with any company in ************* The utility bill in ************ does not belong to me, and if Virtuoso Sourcing Group LLC does not remove it from my credit report, I will report them to the US Consumer Protection Agency for fraud. The collection firm, Virtuouso Sourcing Group is continuing to call me and harass me for the $420 bill that *** had previously sent them for collection. They will not stop calling me, they have made a fraudulent claim on my credit report, and they are threatening to file suit - even though I have documentation from *** stating that the charge was reversed.
