Refund and Exchange PolicyOur warranty is 24 months/24,000 miles, unless specified otherwise by the parts supplier. The vehicle must be returned to our facility for warranty considerations, unless the vehicle is more than 25 miles away from our shop. In such case, the vehicle must be taken to a participating "Tech-net" facility for verification and claim approval prior to any services being performed. An original copy of the invoice will be required.

Complaint: In March 2010, replaced timing belt and supposedly new water pump. In Jan 2014, need new belt and water pump. 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback. In March 2010, at 72363 miles, Auto Repair Place replaced timing belt and supposedly new water pump. In Jan 2014, at less than 95,000 miles,need new belt and water pump. New mechanic says water pump likely original, was never changed. Also says than when 2010 repair was done, damage was done to a pulley that likely resulted in damage to belt. Called Auto Repair Place, they said the old repairs are out of warranty, but they will gladly work on my car again for the usual price.
Desired Settlement: Refund cost of replacing timing belt and related parts and labor, currently being done at Meineke Car Care of Boulder, 303-440-7762
