I'm a dwarf & paraplegic and use a ****** to get around. There are two heavy sets of doors to get into Les Schwab that are not automatic which I had to struggle to open to get into the store. Humiliation #1. Humiliation #2 quickly followed. There were a few people in the lobby, two folks behind the counter helping. I asked one person waiting if they were in line; he was called forward so I stood between the two employees so I could approach the next available person. Three men came in, another employee showed up and called one of the 'newcomers', and one of the other employees called up the other new customer. The third customer had a delivery, and noticing I was in line, waited behind me. One of the employees stopped helping his new customer to help the person with the delivery, and told me I should "beat up" the delivery guy for jumping ahead of me. I asked the employee, "And should I beat up these two other people, who were helped before me?" And the employee said, "We're doing the best we can!!" I would usually just wait it out and bite the bullet, then shrug it off to insensitivity. Instead I left -- struggling through the two sets of heavy, non-automatic doors (heard of the ****** humiliation #3. Normally I'd have forgotten it by now, but I'm still feeling humiliated. I bought my tires at Les Schwab, I just had a question about them. I'll ask someone else, and next time, buy from someone else. I reached out to Les Schwab on their Contact Us page, which says they'll get back to writers 'the next (business) day.' Three days later, I've heard nothing from Les Schwab.
