Purpose

The Corporation is organized exclusively for educational and charitable purposes, including for such purposes coordinating and conducting seminars and training programs for law enforcement and public safety personnel and interested citizens throughout the State of Colorado.

Programs

The Colorado Law Enforcement Offices Association provides training to sworn and non-sworn personnel, and to interested citizens throughout the State of Colorado. The training consists of seminars/classes to be efficient and safety conscious in their chosen professions. Some of the classes are: report writing, interview and interrogation skills, basic crime scene investigation, radar instructors' course, accident investigations, active shooter/first responder, legal updates (for city attorneys and management), and handwriting analysis (for fraud detectives as well as human resources personnel).
