The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is to inspire and enable young people, specially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realiz their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

The Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver help kids from tough neighborhoods in the Denver area stay out of trouble, stay in school, and succeed in life. The eight Metro-area Clubs are places where young people come to learn, do homework, develop social skills, express themselves creatively, and participate in sports. The BGC experience is shaped by trained youth development professionals working in six core program areas: -Education and Career Development -The Arts -Character and Leadership Development -Sports, Fitness and Recreation -Technology -Health and Life Skills Statistics -More than 8,000 youth ages 6-18 are members -50% live in single parent households -70% live in poverty (family earns less than $25,000 per year) -Cost of membership is $2 per year
