              My complaint is in regards to the mishandling of two credit card disputes (Case ID: CIS2575941 for $2807.09, partial amount of $2775.82 since the merchant credited only $31.27, and Case ID: CIS2471729 for $2742.96 on my credit card ending in 2866.. In both scenarios I purchased items from the merchant that were shipped to my home. In both cases I obtained return merchandise authorizations which allowed me to mail the items back to the stores in which they were purchased. In Both cases, the return was shipped with signature required and in both cases, the returns were signed for. I provided USPS return labels, copies of signatures, and copies of itemized refund receipts (listing order #s, items, etc). In both scenarios I was re-billed by Barclays. I was told that there was "insufficient proof of cancellation" and "insufficient proof that the merchant has violated the invoice/contract's terms and conditions". To look at the abundance of the documentation that has been provided and state that it is insufficient is just unbelievable. I would like to be credited for these claims as I believe the agent(s) processing these claims exhibited a high level of negligence."

              I am a platinum member with a dispute against a merchant that has been denied for a reason that doesn’t pertain to the dispute whatsoever. I have spent endless hours gathering information and making phone calls to provide proof this is a valid dispute that should be refunded to me in my favor as a cardholder. I have supplied more than enough evidence and reason regarding the dispute. I did not received the services I paid for and can prove it, then to further the case the business has now closed meaning I will never have the option of receiving the services as if my prior reason wasn’t good enough, this should be suffice but instead I get case workers who don’t care, are rude and just want me to disappear and drop it. I was told most recently that I can not dispute with the same merchant for a different reason (now that they are closed) but can not find this rule anywhere in Mastercard dispute documents. I’m very disappointed that this credit card doesn’t stand behind its cardholders to uphold the “services not received” dispute reason. I spend a lot of money a year on this card and will have to look elsewhere for a new card since this simple request is being totally swept away without anyone giving a care in the world about it. I am owed a refund and can prove it, but Barclays will not stand behind its cardholders.
