Complaint: I am being falsely accused of owing a larger monthly car payment. My original car payment that was agreed upon when I purchased my vehicle in March 24, 2014 was $474.00 . I have paid my car payments on time ever since. I can provide documentation of electronic checks that have been processed from my checking account. Dexta Federal Credit Union is claiming that I owe monthly payments of $997.93 since June of 2014. They have also added on late charges as well. They told me that they have added a larger amount to my monthly payments because they did not receive my insurance claim declaration paperwork. I have since provided them my declaration paperwork via fax which shows proof of my vehicle insurance since the day I purchased the vehicle.

Desired Settlement: I would like for Dexta Federal Credit Union to properly update there information, drop the late financial fees and put my monthly payments back to the original amount of $474.00 If this can not be done then I would like to request a refund of all money given to Dexta and they can have there vehicle back. Also I would like for any negative information given to the credit bureaus to be corrected.

The insurance declaration information was received and the necessary adjustments to this account were completed prior to receipt of this Better Business Bureau notice.

BBB's Final Determination: Business offered a resolution. Consumer did not pursue further with BBB and the matter was assumed to be resolved
