DAYTON, OHIO, April 30, 2014 - Women in Business Networking (WiBN), a program of your Better Business Bureau serving Dayton/Miami Valley, announces it’s hosting a three-part writing series called The Journey to Writing. The series will kick off on May 16 at Dayton Racquet Club from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Cost is $25 for attendees. Lunch will be provided.
The Journey to Writing will feature female writers from across the Miami Valley. The series will include writing instructions for novels, freelancing and e-writing. If writing is a part of your life, whether for pleasure or business, this series is for you.
Author of “Arise Out of the Ashes”, Deborah Lovett, will be presenting in the first part of the series. She will cover the basics for any writer to know and discuss the types of publishing available. The discussion will wrap up with questions and answers followed by a drawing to win a personal writing retreat. Her book will be given to each attendee.
The second part of the series will take place on October 16. This session will focus on freelance writing. Beth Langefels will lead the session by sharing her freelancing adventures. She will offer suggestions on how any fledgling writer can become a published writer and earn a regular income.
The series will wrap up on January 16 with a panel discussion led by Linda Jones. The panel will discuss blogging and e-related writing.
