Plan To Attend BBB Financial Fair At Hithergreen Senior Center

DAYTON, OHIO, August 24, 2009—In today’s economy, it’s important to make the most of your assets and protect them from scammers. Your Better Business Bureau is hosting a free community event to help.

BBB Financial Fair

Wednesday, September 2

Hithergreen Senior Center

5900 Hithergreen Dr., Centerville

10 a.m. – 12 noon: Financial Expo

10 - 10:30 a.m.: Scam Bingo

10:30 - 11 a.m: Presentation on Financial Schemes and Scams

11 a.m. - 12 noon: Panel Discussion on Financial Issues

Whether you’re young or old, the BBB Financial Fair is the place to get the answers to your financial questions. Representatives from the following agencies will be on hand:

· Attorney General’s Office

· Federal Trade Commission

· Ohio Department of Insurance

· Internal Revenue Service

· Office of the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel

· Social Security Administration

· Pro Seniors, Ohio SMP Project

· Ohio Treasurer of State

· Better Business Bureau

The event is only days away, so mark your calendars and plan to attend to get insight from experts in the field. Light refreshments will also be provided by Hithergreen Senior Center and Heartland of Centerville.
