DAYTON, OHIO, January 29, 2009 - Tired of hearing all the negatives about our economy. Focus on the positive. Nominate the companies that are shining in today’s marketplace for a Better Business Bureau Eclipse Integrity Award. There are lots of fantastic organizations in our community. Think about organizations that you trust, that have made you a raving fan, that make a difference in the Miami Valley. Think about the good things your own organization does. Acknowledge these organizations’ good works by recognizing them with Eclipse Integrity Award nominations.
Nominations can be made online at www.bbb.org. Or, call (937) 222-5825 or (800) 776-5301. The deadline to nominate an organization other than your own is February 2. The deadline for self-nominations is March 6. (If you’re self-nominating, review the nominating procedures on your BBB’s Web site, www.bbb.org, or contact your BBB for the complete nomination form.)
Eclipse Integrity Awards are presented to four businesses and one nonprofit honoring them for their management practices, business relationships, promotional efforts and reputation. There are five award categories: four size categories for business entries (1-20 employees, 21-50 employees, 51-100 employees and over 100 employees) and a separate category for nonprofits.
Your BBB is hosting an information session about completing the nomination process for companies that have been nominated by the public and those self-nominating. The seminar will be held February 10 from 7:30 - 9 a.m. at the United Way Building, 184 Salem Ave., Dayton. Reservations can be made by calling (937) 222-5825 or (800) 776-5301.
Winners will be selected by an independent panel of judges and honored at the Eclipse Integrity Awards dinner at the Schuster Performing Arts Center on May 12, 2009.
The Eclipse Integrity Awards are sponsored by many local organizations, including The Dayton Power and Light Company; Cincinnati Bell; Serco, Inc.; WesBanco Bank, Inc.; WDTN-TV; Dayton B2B; and Lite 99.9.
