DAYTON, OHIO, July 18, 2008 - Exciting things are happening internally around your Better Business Bureau. Staff transitions and promotions allow your BBB to serve the community more effectively.
Steve Popp, formerly director of operations, has been promoted to chief operating officer and executive director of the BBB Education Foundation. He will continue to oversee BBB operations, while devoting time to managing foundation activities and programs.
Formerly director of communications and marketing, Sheri Sword has been promoted to vice president of communications. In addition to marketing, public relations and media communications, her duties will expand to managing BBB Accredited Business relations and retention.
Christy Hagerman, formerly assistant director of operations, has been promoted to director of operations. Her duties will involve managing the daily activities of BBB operations to include complaint handling, call center, charitable advisory and advertising review services.
Formerly administrative assistant, Terene Chatfield has been promoted to director of administrative solutions. While assisting the president/CEO and vice president of communications, she will coordinate and direct support services enabling your BBB to operate efficiently.
Melanie Graves, formerly office manager, has transitioned to information development manager. While performing accounts payables/receivable duties, she will manage your BBB’s database for BBB Accredited Businesses, operations and financial segments.
Formerly business relations manager, Melissa Cutcher has been named director of business development. She will manage BBB Accredited Business development, while providing support in maximizing the growth of your BBB and its roster.
