My home warranty provider, ******** **** ******, sent out Authorized Services to evaluate a leak coming from my dishwasher. They came out and claimed 1) they could not get the unit out to fully evaluate it, and 2) claimed the leak was coming from a water line to the dishwasher unit and not the unit. So, my warranty company sent out plumbers, *** ******, who came to evaluate and pulled the unit out to check where the leak was coming from. Plus, they cut a hole in my ceiling in the basement to find where the leak was coming from. The plumber and I could see water traveling down the dishwasher drain line from the dishwasher. The plumber said the back panel of the dishwasher unit needs to be removed b/c the line goes into the dishwasher unit beyond the rear panel. The plumber said that drain line is part of the unit, and therefore an appliance repair issue. So, while Authorized Service continues to refuse to come back to fix this, my basement ceiling is suffering water damage. Plus, I pay monthly to ******** **** ****** for coverage of plumbing leaks and appliances - which are supposed to be covered. ******** **** ****** does not have another vendor to come out and evaluate, either. Somehow, this issue needs to be elevated to the right people b/c I'm feeling tossed about like a ping pong ball while I can't use my DW, and the ceiling downstairs is getting water damaged.
