The Better Business Bureau does not process or report on complaints regarding the professional practices of attorneys. If you have a complaint regarding the professional practices of an attorney, please contact the State Bar Association of Texas at 1-800-204-2222. That state agency will also confirm that a lawyer is licensed to practice in Texas, report on disciplinary history, and offer a number of helpful publications regarding legal issues.
The Bureau does process and report on complaints regarding the business practices of attorneys, such as a dispute regarding the crediting of a payment to a client's account. The customer experience reported by the Bureau refers to business practices only, not professional practices.
