              I opened a checking account with New Horizons Credit Untion at ********************************************* ***** with $25,00 on December 8, 2022. Phone number is: **************. I was not sure, but there was deduction and I was charged a fee of $60.00 for insufficient funds on my account. I had a sudden death in the family on December 21,2022. I had to leave the country as soon as I could. When I returned, I went into the branch and informed them of the situation, but they refused to give me a refund. I would like a refund of $60.00. Thank you for attending to to this matter at your earliest convience.

              These guys ****, beyond all ability to even express how much they ****. You want a credit union without any of the benefits of a credit union? Well they have you covered for that. You want to have to wait a day or two to see what charges have hit your account? This is your bank. Kind of crazy how Varo can text me the instant my card is charged, but New Horizons has to wait 12-24 hours before I can see why my account is $*** below what it should be. And they love those insufficient funds charges. Deny a charge and then charge you $** for a overdraft that they didn't even cover. With today's offerings this "credit union" is just unacceptable. Don't waste your time here. Get a Varo or Chime. Way better.
