Programs

United Way of Central Alabama (UWCA) focuses on education, financial stability, health, and access to services for the Central Alabama community. The organization focuses on cradle-to-career education strategies that provide a foundation at an early age to develop children into adults who can contribute to their communities. UWCA helps working families who continue to face economic challenges and put them on the road to long-term financial success. The organization works to remove barriers to healthy eating and an active lifestyle, to create healthier individuals and thriving communities. UWCA also provides a link to basic services through its network to help individuals and families get back on their feet.
