On 6/18/2014 BBB wrote to Foley Carrier Services, LLC regarding a pattern of complaints. The pattern, based on reportable complaints, included issues with staff not clearly identifying themselves as being employees of Foley Carrier Services therefore leading the consumer to believe they were calling from the Department of Transportation, and delays in providing refunds that had been requested by consumers.
The business responded to BBB on 7/1/2014 denying any systematic problems as a new script system was introduced for their sales team that contains a disclaimer that Foley Carrier Services is not affiliated with the Department of Transportation. Additionally, the business states, with regard to delays in refunding consumers, that continued efforts will be made to work with the accounting team to ensure prompt payment.
In subsequent correspondence received by BBB from the business on 08/14/2014, Foley Carrier Services indicated that monitoring of the sales team is conducted by direct supervisors. Quality assurance is performed via phone records, one on one training and random checks.
