Refund and Exchange PolicyOur bookstore has a 30 day refund policy. Our courses are as follows:
If unforeseen circumstances interrupt your studies, and you find you need additional time to complete the course, the Institute will—at your request, and with your instructor’s approval— grant you a reasonable extension. If you must withdraw, the following refund policy, governed by Connecticut law, will apply:
If you notify the Institute within 10 days of your enrollment that you wish to withdraw, any payments you have made will be refunded within 30 days, and you will have no further obligation. If you withdraw 11 to 30 days after enrollment, you will owe 27% of tuition; from 31 to 60 days, you will owe 33.3% of tuition; from 61 to 90 days, you will owe 39.6% of tuition; from 91 to 120 days, you will owe 45.9% of tuition; from 121 to 150 days, you will owe 52.2% of tuition; from 151 to 180 days, you will owe 58.6% of tuition; from 181 to 360 days, you will owe 72.4% of tuition; from 361 to 540 days, you will owe 86.2% of tuition; and after 540 days, you will owe 100% of the tuition. Of course, all tuition payments made by you will be deducted from your obligation as indicated above. Under the monthly payment plan, the finance charge will be retained by the Institute, even if the tuition is fully paid with fewer than 12 payments. If you pay in full upon enrollment and it becomes necessary for you to withdraw, you will receive a full refund of any money you have paid minus the amount due, as outlined above. If you are not satisfied that you’ve become a better writer and learned how to market your writing to editors and publishers by the time you’ve completed our course, you can obtain a full refund. Simply make your request within 60 days of the date on your diploma.
