Very deceptive and shady. We were told the hourly rate would be a certain amount but the rate changed considerably when invoice was presented. We were also made to wait for an hour at first drop point with no explanation. We were billed for 12 hours (which included the unexplained lost hour). The actual hours worked totaled 10. A valuable table and several family dishes were broken. The “owner” of the company has not contacted us regarding an insurance claim. The move was cut short because a storm was expected to pass thru at our destination later in the evening costing us another association fee for a subsequent and final move ($500) plus additional movers costs.

For the record, I've followed up with *** **** once I got back into town via phone, text and sent an email to both he and his wife detailing the following; 1. Showing the price of $200/hr plus $225 flat fee for the truck email correspondence on 25 May the day BEFORE the move 26 May. (I will post that screen shot here if allowed) I will post the text conversations if allowed. 2. I told *** **** that the dishes he packed were his responsibility as the boxes were not mishandled and we cannot verify the condition of the contents nor his packing ability prior to transport (PBO is 'packed by owner'). The few items that we did pack were fine. 3. Discussed with my men about the damaged table which was they told me was deemed 'minor' by *** **** at the time and told my men not to worry about it as he had a friend who would easily repair it. I asked him to send me pics of the damage (no pics yet) 4. I had a discussion with *** **** concerning the price (totaled a12 hr day driving upstate CT/thunderstorm/travel time etc) 5. *** **** verbally told me he would take the negative review down (which he has not) Again, I was not informed of any damage by my men because of the above. I had no idea this had occurred as we had moved them 2 weeks prior. I assumed that everything was good as they signed the invoice and paid for the job in fact, I spoke with them when the bill was signed to go over the charges. I immediately reached out to *** **** once I received a text of his displeasure. I've offered to come up with a resolution in our conversations.
