Additional Complaint Information

BBB has received customer complaints alleging delays in delivery of prepaid orders for lighting fixtures advertised on the company's web site with an estimated 4 to 6 weeks delivery time, and/or difficulty obtaining refunds or credits upon cancellation of long-delayed orders.

On July 24, 2013 and September 13, 2013, BBB wrote to the company, requesting that it provide a statement explaining the steps it planned to take to address the underlying causes of complaints regarding delayed product deliveries and cancellation/refund delays.

On December 17, 2013, the business informed BBB that it had increased its estimated maximum shipping time on its web site to 6 to 8 weeks and, to eliminate any misunderstandings with customers going forward, it has posted its refund policy online, in addition to providing the policy to all clients who email or phone in cancellations due to shipping delays or other reasons.  In regard to responsiveness to customers' inquiries, the company stated that it responds to every customer inquiry and that its goal is to reach a 24-hour turnaround time for customer contacts.
