We recently purchased an older home in *** ***** ***  In addition to some cosmetic changes, the kitchen needed to be completely remodeled and updated. An acquaintance suggested we contact M&D to discuss the work that needed to be done. We called M&D and the owner, Mark Dickenson, came to our home for a meeting. We told Mark of our vision for the new kitchen. He was quite receptive and offered a number of valuable suggestions. After discussing materials, timeline and price. We signed a contract for M&D to perform the work. Due to the upcoming holidays. It was understandable that the work would not begin until after the first of the year. Shortly after the first of the year, Mark called us to say that they were ready to begin the work. Shortly thereafter, Chris, an employee of M&D showed up to begin the remodeling. To call Chris a “carpenter” would not be doing him justice. The man is a true “skilled craftsman”. From tearing down walls and rebuilding them to laying flooring and tile, his work is precise and of the highest quality. Unfortunately, we can not recall the names of the individuals who did the drywall work or the plumber. Be that as it may, each of the subcontractors performed their work in a professional and friendly manner. Throughout the process, Mark kept us constantly updated on what would be happening. In addition, he was constantly on the site checking that the work being performed was being done, not only to our satisfaction, but to his. To anyone that has gone through any type of renovation, you know your biggest fear is a delay because materials were not delivered or workers don’t show up. However, we can state unequivocally, that when Mark said someone was coming to perform work, they showed up on time and performed the work.
