            On February 22,2022 I dropped of my Subaru ****** to Reynold’s Subaru of *** ******* ** ** ***** ** to be diagnosed the following day. The Subaru seemed to be making a “whirring” noise that I believed to be a bad wheel bearing. On February 23, 2022, I received a text message from the service center stating, “Noise heard is not a wheel bearing. Inspected and found 3 of your calipers locked up and stuck on slides. Suggest replacement of all calipers and rear pads $1005. Also abs hydraulic assembly has significant brake fluid leak can be rebuilt $825. Inner tie rod boot also torn, suggest replacement $249- Please advise.” I called Reynolds and told them to proceed with the repairs of the ABS rebuild, replacement of the calipers, replacement of the rotors, in addition to tightening the heat shield and giving the car an oil change. The estimate we got was for $2,079. I received a text message from Reynold’s Subaru on February 24th, 2022 asking, “Just wanted to confirm, are we also doing the engine reseal to correct the oil leak $1939. - Please advise.” I responded back to this text message, “Yes” and was advised that I would get a call when the car was ready for pickup. On February 28, 2022, I texted the service number and asked for a total. At 1:11pm I wrote to them, “Thanks so much! Do you have a total for everything?” This text went unanswered. After ten days Jim, the service advisor, had responded back, “All standard methods of payment. Cash, check, or charge cards. Total with tax is $5036.30.” I was never advised of an oil leak or provided with a written estimate of the supposed repairs in the amount of $5036.30 before the work was completed. Only after the work was completed was I provided a full estimate of $5036 DESPITE asking on two separate times in writing to be provided with such estimates. The general manager, Nora, Keith the service manager, and Jim the service advisor were accusatory, demeaning and downright verbally abusive when I attempted to resolve.

            This business took advantage of COVID times and dramatically increased their prices. I bought a vehicle (used) for $28,000 with the promise that this company will "take care of me" and they are "one big family". This is far from the truth. I brought the vehicle in for inspection when the check engine light came on. They were going to charge me an additional $4,500. They then called my fiancé to inform him of this charge when I questioned the warranty on this vehicle. The mechanic, Troy, then said to my fiancé to "go somewhere else". After putting this much money into the vehicle this is not how I should be treated. I followed up with a call to the dealership side informing them of the rude remarks where I was then told "I am sure he didn't mean it" and invalidated of the experience that I had. Nora then stated they would cover the cost of the EVAP canister, which was never my intent to receive compensation, which was $600 of the $4,500 that was needed. I declined this service as it felt as though a slap in the face instead of an apology. I then brought my car to another mechanic who greeted me with kindness and took care of me in a way that should happen. This mechanic also stated that the EVAP does not need to be replaced instead there was a mouse nest inside that just needed to be removed. Sure enough this mechanic did not charge me for the service, removed the mouse nest, and the check engine light immediately when off. In my opinion, they knew there was a mouse nest and were "taking care of that" since there is no need to replace the EVAP canister. This is experience was extremely upsetting and I will no longer return, recommend or use this deanship again.

            ****** ****** purchased her vehicle March 12, 2022. Her purchase price was $20900 plus taxes and fees. She took delivery of this vehicle with 114,304 miles. From the point *******took delivery on 3/12/22 until 9/27/23, she had not brought her vehicle in for service at our establishment. We have no calls or emails on record during that time frame. In that time, she put an additional 40,315 miles on to her vehicle. When the vehicle was dropped off by ******* Fiancé, he specifically requested the service department to reach out to him only. The customer is a schoolteacher and cannot be reached during the day. We honored her request. In regard to our service writer telling the customer to "go somewhere else", this would never happen by any of our team members. Our only explanation to the customer was there must of been some kind of miscommunication. In which the conversation was with fiancé, not ******* Lastly, the customer was quoted $4004 for service repairs. Of which the majority of the repairs were maintenance related; 30K major service, front and rear brake pads and rotors, alignment, air filter and brake fluids service totaling $2112. The 3 other items were replacing the axle, $639: wheel bearing replacement $424, EVAP canister $513. The customer was also told there would be no charge for the EVAP canister because it was covered under warranty, additionally it would need to be repaired by ****** dealer. *******said she would let us know. Finally, we would not know there was a mouse nest until work was approved by the customer and underway by the technician. The customer did elect to complete the 30k major service, her bill came to $605.66.
