I am unfortunately reaching out to you regarding a complaint I am raising against Branford Academy of Hair & Design located in both Branford and *********** *** I have reached out to them a number of times over the past week or so and each time they have been extremely rude. I am not sure if this is retaliation due to the fact that they were ill prepared when I initially attended and dropped out the same day due to them not having an appropriate teacher for the course. I attempted to reach out to them to see if I could get an unofficial transcript or a letter stating that I do not have any credits from them, they immediately told me I had a balance and they would not give an invoice or letter stating that I owe them a balance. I then attempted to call back the next day to see if I could speak with someone else to get an invoice or statement of balance due. They started ignoring the calls and hanging up on me when they did answer. Today, 3/23/23, they proceeded to call me a "*****" and mocked me for simply asking for some assistance. I at this point feel like this is retaliation and discrimination and do not feel safe or comfortable contacting them further due to their consistent inappropriate manner and are behaving in a belligerent and aggressive manner. I just do not simply know where to proceed from here and do not feel safe nor comfortable contacting them further considering each time we speak they get more and more hostile when questioning my balance.
