Complaint: Multiple attempts have been made to contact Hubbell in order to get an answer to a simple question; can the heater we purchased have a larger heating element installed in it. Every attempt to resolve the situation has been met with a brief discussion and then ended with "I will get back to you" only to never hear from that representative again.

Desired Settlement: We would simply like an answer to our question.

Business Response:

Upon notification of this complaint ***** ***** from our Sales Department contacted the customer, February 14.  Customer indicated he spoke to someone last week but could not recall that persons name.  Customer also sent an email to *** ********** in our Technical Support Department.  Unfortunately, *** has been travelling out of the country since February 8 and has limited/no access to email, hence the lack of response from ***.

Hubbell Salesperson (***** *****) contacted customer today and answered his question, offering the customer a solution to his problem.  In fact, we have advised the customer that it is possible to increase the wattage on his heater by changing the size of the heating element.  Hubbell offered to ship the replacement element to the customer at no charge.  Customer accepted and the heater is shipping today.
