Read Complaint Details
Complaint: On 9/17/14, I sent MJT a check in the amount of $2,105.73 along with a signed contract as that 50% deposit on replacement window (7 in total). I contacted ****** at MJT on 10/1 and 10/7 trying to find out he status of the installation. He finally replied that my check and contract had not been received.I was able to send him a copy of the check that was cashed by MJT on 9/19/2014 as well as a copy of the contract. ****** sent me an email that day indicating that my file/check had been "misfiled". He was ordering the windows that day and they would arrive in about 2 weeks. Installation would be scheduled immediately. That was the LAST time I received any communication from any representative of MJT. I have been calling the office and leaving voicemails with the answering service since 10/20. No one is ever in the office. No one has returned or answered my calls.
Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my deposit of $2,105.73. If they can't get my windows ordered or contact me about the status I certainly DO NOT WANT to have any further contact with MJT.
Problems with Product/Service

Complaint: MJT Enterprises installed gutters in our condos, but failed to do a decent job. I am trying to contact them for four (4) weeks to do a repair/fixing, but did not even had a phone call back. Because of the incomplete job that MJT did, the gutters are not connected to the house and the leaks are ruining our deck and the furniture on it. Needless to say, we can't enjoy the deck, because of the gutters can come down any times. Here are the words from MJT Enterprises website, that I consider as false advertising."Workmanship WarrantyWe've worked with numerous residential customers throughout the Connecticut and New England area. We've successfully completed hundreds of home improvement projects. And every project has been delivered on time, on budget, and with the award-winning MJT Exteriors' standard of excellence. We also lead the industry in customer service, and have been recognized for our work and dedication."
Desired Settlement: I would like MJT fix the problem, while I am home.
Business Response: We at MJT Enterprises apologize for the frustration **** ******** has experienced over they gutter situation. We did however try to contact the client on several occasions to set up a time to complete the repair while she was home as requested. The situation became a bit of "phone tag". We eventually were able to connect and have since made all the necessary repairs to the gutters. Again we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our client. Thank you.
The business did not call me and the mentioned "phone tag" is a lie. I was calling to the business 2-3 times daily and finally they fixed the problem. Thank you BBB for the help.
