Complaint: I did a routine eye exam in November 2012 and paid $90 for a pair of eye glasses I never received. I've called several times to get a refund for the glasses I never received, I keep getting the run around; everytime I call the office I'm told me that my information will be forwarded to the general manager however, the general manager failed to call me back regarding my refund. It looks like this is a standard procedure for visual perceptions to scam individuals, take money from innocent patients and run. I'm very upset by their behavior; poor customer service, no communication with the manager, I can't talk to anyone in billing, everything is unprofessional about this company. I will no longer have services there.
Desired Settlement: I'd like to get a refund for glasses I never received.
Business Response: Ms. Smith did have an exam and used her insurance benefit (VSP) for eyewear. The frames and lenses that she chose required specific copay's dictated by VSP. She left a $24 deposit and had a balance of $95 when she picked up the eyewear. Ms. Smith did not pick up the eyewear, and it sat in our lab for over a year. We satisfied our part of the contract with VSP, Ms. Smith did not. She can pick up the eyewear at any time and pay her balance.
