Complaint: On 10/10/2013 I hired Anchor Contracting to do a complete renovation on my master bathroom and adding a 1/2 bathroom, I did my research and the comments on your website were good and he was recommended by a site called Home Builders after getting an estimate and meeting with **** ******* he said that he had 18 yrs experience in home renovations he gave me a copy of his insurance and his license # of Anchor Contracting which I also check out with the state before giving them the ok to do the job. I was to supply the material. Well first nothing was done right I even had another contractor come over to show him how to fix the mistake twice and he still put in the French doors wrong. The tile work was sloppy and the lines were not even and the wall moved which resulted in the grout cracking and tile falling off the wall and even the studding and some of the nails were not even nailed into anything. The window was installed crooked the cut for the door was like a drunk did it uneven. Due to all the mess up I have to have it all ripped down and start again from scratch. Meaning with material I spent 28,000.00 Dollars gone. Me and my husband are disgusted and will probably go to channel 3. I have pictures and a full inspection report on his poor workmanship. Just a note I bought enough tile to do this bathroom 2 1/2 times and it is all gone where? The tapeing all wrong besides taking 5 months which should of been done in 3 weeks the inconvenience the mess I have to endure again. Nobody should use this company. I have 121 pics and a full 2 page inspection report.if they want it done right. As some things were taking down 3 times and still was not right!!!!

Desired Settlement: I would expect full compensation cost for all material used and expenses for a new contractor to fix and finish my bathroom renovation.
