      I have a Tundra 2022, they sent me a notification about 4 recalls over the vehicle, make an appointment, bring the vehicle, they sent me a video showing that rear brakes pads are very low, and explained it, nothing else, no mention about need to replace the rotors. I sent a text back saying “Please change rear brakes”, which, based on the video was only pads, never received a quote before replacing everything or even a verbal mention about the fact that they will charge $916.00 for a pads replacement. They replaced everything without my approval first. It was abuse, it can’t happened, and hope anyone else needs to get this kind of abusive conduct. Very frustrated and angry. The person which dealt with me disappeared and never answered my texts when I was there, but during the day was sending text to me all day.

      Good evening, and "Happy Holidays", Mr. Cr******, Jr: my name is ***** ******** and I bought a used Mercedes from your Colonial Toyota of Milford, CT location. That was being SOLD for a friend of someone that worked at the Dealership and NOT for your Dealership itself as I was told. Lorenzo, your Dealer's employee informed me that the asking price was $16,000.00, and I gave him (the Dealer) a check for $10,000.00. So, therefore my loan with ********* ******** *** should have been for $6,000.00 and any other applicable charges such as taxes. However, one of your employees informed be that the loan attain by Colonial Toyota of Milford was for $22,000.00 how can that be if, they received a Cashiers Check from me from ****** ******* Bank in the aforementioned amount of $10,000.00. I recently checked my balance and your institution ********* ******** *** continues to claim that I still have an outstanding balance of over $8,000.00. How can that be? Are my arithmetic skills that bad? I believe that $16,000.00 minus $10,000.00 Equals $6,000.00. And, lets say for argument sake that the loan was for $22,000.00. Well $22,000.00 minus $10,000.00 Equals $12,000.00. So, as mentioned above how can I still have a balance of $8,000.00? I've ** ******* ***** the Attorney General for the State of Connecticut as well as News12 Connecticut. Any Assistance with this matter will be greatly appreciated for I have retired and living on a Social Security check and trying to make ends meet.       Dealership lost the key to a new car we had delivered there. Had no idea where the key was and made no efforts to find the key prior to us arriving at the dealership to pick up the car. The effort was looking for it a few hours before we were to arrive when the car was delivered days earlier. A brand new car sitting on a lot across the street unlocked with no key in sight! Not only was that bad but when we were brought to the car it was dirty! No courtesy to use floor mats so there was muddy footprints all over. Additionally, they try to charge you illegal fees and tell you they cannot waive them. Despite it saying they are negotiable. Instead of helping people that are in an awful place because of there mistakes they give you a hard time around every corner. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS.

      This dealer illegally represents their dealer conveyance fee as non-negotiable. When directly confronted with this, and the statute that lays out CT law, they doubled down again stating it was non negotiable. Then in their dealership the fee listed on their wall is lower than what they quote directly to the consumer. In addition they hide other fees including a "mandatory" etching fee (again illegal), and try to upcharge with other hidden fees. Then when confronted they gaslight the consumer. I cannot more highly recommend AVOIDING this dealer

      I purchased a vehicle from them in April and by May my radio wasn't working. When I purchased the car they did not disclose that the radio had been replaced in January. When I asked why wasn't this information disclosed when I purchased the vehicle I was told that the sales people wouldn't know. How is this a certified pre-owned vehicle when all information isn't listed. I asked why was the radio initially replaced I was told they don't have that information. I reached out to Toyota because I was aittle leary about a vehicle that's had it's radio replaced twice in 5 months. They reached out to Colonial to see if anything could be done to put at ease and the person I spoke with was so dismissive and minimized how I felt. I would not have purchased this vehicle if I had this prior knowledge, a little issue usually becomes a big one later on.
