Complaint Property Mgmt - issues with tenant breaking terms and conditions of lease and price gouging on maintenance costs I hired Real Property Management to help with the rental of my condo, *** ****** **** *** *********** NH XXXXX. Since we entered into an agreement on 8/12/15, the locks on the door to my condo have been changed without permission, the person on the lease is subletting to his son who has felony drug charges, and the police were called to my property due to illegal drug use, and I was charged $444.75 to fix a clogged sink and a garbage disposal motor. Per the agreement with Real Property Management, I should be contacted to approve any repairs that exceed $250.00 and this cost was not approved by me. I would like the tenant who is not on the lease to vacate my property and to dissolve the relationship with Real Property Management. The reason being that they have taken no action against the occupant of my condo who has broken 3 sections of the lease and the unreasonable fees charged for maintenance by Real Property Management.
Desired Settlement I would like for the occupant of my condo to vacate the premises immediately and a portion of the plumbing issue ($444.75) to be refunded back to me.
Business Response I sincerely apologize for any frustration you've experienced with our office. I have contacted you by phone and email to discuss our options and move forward strategy. We are committed to providing every client with a positive experience and we are hopeful we can assist with a satisfactory resolution. I've looked into the situation and after gathering all the facts I understand clearly what transpired. Real Property Management Premier Network did place a tenant into your condo located in Manchester per our Management agreement. The tenant was required to complete an application and meet all of our rigorous eligibility requirements. The tenant we placed into the property then allowed his son to occupy the premises without our permission or knowledge. The tenant has violated the terms of the lease agreement and we have been working diligently with our legal team to have the tenants and all other occupants evicted according to NH law. As a property management company we are required to follow the NH eviction process. We are currently in the eviction process.
In regards to the maintenance complaint, while it is our policy to always receive Owner's prior approval to any expense that exceed $250.00, we apologize that your experience did not reflect the high standards we work hard to uphold for our clients and tenants. We sincerely regret any difficulty this experience has caused. It was a simple miscommunication and Real Property Management Premier Network did contact you immediately after receiving a phone call to resolve the issue. Real Property Management Premier Network did refund you any monies you felt were due you at the time. Please be assured that I and the rest of the team here are committed to providing you and all of our clients with professional, reliable service in what can be a complicated business for both tenants and owners. I hope I have adequately addressed your concern, please reply to my email or contact me at the main office number if there is anything further I can do to make this right.
