Problems with car dealership after turning in car
I JUST NEED A LETTER STATING WHEN CAR WAS RETURN IN . THE OWNER INDICATED OVER THE PHONE THE CARE WAS TURN IN ON 10/15/15. However he is unwilling to provide this to me in a letter with letter head to provide to the DMV

In regards to this complaint - 1st of all Ms. ***** stated that she had problems with the dealership after she turned the car in - the truth is her account was turned over to a repossession company in December of 2014 with a past due balance of $921. Ms. ***** kept the car out of state for several months - the recorded repossession date is October 30th 2015. The first time Ms. ***** contacted the dealership to obtain the documentation was July 28, 2016 a full nine months after the repossession! Ms. ***** also stated in her complaint "the owner indicated over the phone the car was turned in on 10/15/15" but was unwilling to provide her with a letter head. This statement is false as well. She was told that the person who handles repossessions was on vacation and would not be back in the office until August 2, 2016 and instructed her to call back on that date to obtain an affidavit of repossession (document SCDMV requires). Ms. ***** called on August 3rd 2016 after I was back in the office - she explained what she needed and I told her she could come by anytime and pick up her documents. A few days later a lady came by and asked if she could get Ms. *****'s records - due to privacy laws I was unable to release them but I spoke to Ms. ***** shortly after and told her I could mail them to her. The documents were mailed to the address she provided the next day.

In short this complaint is ridiculous given the fact that she never contacted the dealership until 9 months had passed and she happened to call when I was on vacation. She was never told that we wouldnt give her the paper she needed - she was simply told to call back the next week.
