Bought a 2010 Toyota Camry at the end of jan 2015. Unable to use the cooling system due to a mold allergy that occurs every time the system is turned

Would ask Fred Anderson to repair cooling and fan system by removing mold/ evaporator coil so mold allergy/ reaction when using?

Desired Settlement
Repair the car or replace with an equal value Camry without this issue.

We have addressed the issue with our customer. We did an ozone treatment of the ac system to eliminate any odor or mold. The customer has also taken the vehicle to another Toyota dealership locally for an AC refresh. Since then the customer has filed a complaint with Toyota Motor Service. Their field technical agent came out and inspected the Camry and could not find any issues. We offered to trade the customer out and she declined. Since she has requested Toyota get involved we can not work with her at the dealership level any longer.

Basically the issue of mold in the hvac system has been going on since at least 2004 in various models. Toyota corp and even a local dealer acknowledged the issue which is engineering. Hopefully, Toyota will help customers with this problem and correct the problem.

In dealing with Fred Anderson, the issue was swept under the carpet so Toyota corporate and another dealer were contacted for advise and help. A manager in New car sales at Fred Anderson was incredible in letting the owner use a car the first week. Huge thanks to him.
