Issue bad filter, after all test were made, and verified by assisting employee of Moen, determination was made filter was the problem with no water at faucet outlet. representative number one who is willing to send new filter kit $20 (two day)delivery or 7 to 10 days no charge, neither of which were acceptable. Representative #2 ( thinking outside the box) send a new filterkit no charge ,2 day or less delivery. My only alternative was to return the new Moen faucet to Amazon for full reimbursement and purchase a similar kitchen faucet. Which will arrive in less time than 7 to 10 days. representative number two, Britney, Realized my dilemma. Im married 85 and didn’t want to get under the sink on my back again. Thankfully, you have at least one employee thinking outside the box, save the sale of the Moen kitchen faucet and relieve me of a lot of pressure. I will close with saying thank you Brittany thank you thank you thank you. Charles G****** ****** *****, Arizona.Review from Clark W

Moen has changed a lot from 10 years ago. Moen was the brand I have loved for years, until their quality went so far down hill. I will no longer purchase any Moen products, and will explain why. First, my 5 year old $250 Moen kitchen faucet is falling apart. It now needs to be replaced. Sad because I have purchased several of about that same model years ago that held up just fine. Something has changed with Moen. My new shower/tub 7 year old Moen valve just cost me a bunch of money to fix. I would have just replaced it with another brand but the valve’s guts are behind tile work. So Moen has me trapped in a money pit. The 1222 Moen valve insert of the shower failed, which cost $55 for the part at **** ****** Then the Moen insert puller was another $20. It took me hours to change it and the job was very hard. A plumber wanted $350 to replace it plus parts. Another Moen issue: The tub spout diverter valve has made a noise since it was installed. After removing it, I discovered Moen put the driverter valve rubber seat gasket (that you pull for a shower) in backwards at the factory. I read other people found the same manufacture defect issue. That fancy Moen 1222 “temperature control” valve will fail again in about 5 years. It is the way Moen designed it. The older Moen shower valves were great and last a long time. Something has changed with Moen, and it is their QUALITY! I just recommend that you pick a different brand. I wish I had, and I will select a different brand in all my future plumbing purchases!Review from Gary F

Highly satisfied with all of Moen’s products. When they say the guarantee their products, they mean it ! I have contacted them, sent in pictures, in which they easily identified my products, sent out a replacements, was here within 2 days. Please note, my products were over 11 years old, and they sent out a new unit, no questions asked. I will never purchase any other brand.Review from Tom K

I bought a Moen bath faucet set in 2018. The hot water handle got hard to turn, probably from mineral deposits from our hard water. I called Moen because I could not twist off the handle as it is supposed to do (again, probably from minerals, not a product defect). Moen customer service was fantastic- knowlegeable, helpful and generous. They sent me a new faucet handle (so I could use a wrench on the old one, knowing I would destroy the finish), and two new cartridges. Then, when I went to replace the cartridges, I could not get one of them out. The plastic nut would not loosen (and I tried all the tricks, including ice inside and heating the outside). Called Moen again. They are sending me a new valve body ($56 item) for free... although I chose to pay for expedited shipping. Customer rep was totally on top of it. I couldn't be happier with Moen's customer service.Review from Sammy K

Wish i could give negative star to Moen kitchen sensor faucets. Most discourteous and unprofessional customer service reps. My first mistake was to buy their product and second mistake did not hold on to the receipt. Paid tons of money to buy their product that did not even last 5 years. Not only that, they did not warranty or offered any help. They tried to defraud me by sending me a 75% off coupon that could only be applied at their website, where they had doubled the price of the same product that was selling for half the price on other websites. Extremely disappointed didn't know this kind of fraud still exist.Review from Andrea B

Entire home has Moen faucets that were put in by the builder 7 years ago. Faucets are in horrible condition. Handles are hard to turn on, one of them has broken off completely leaving water gushing everywhere, and you can tell they just aren't meant to last. We are the second owners of this home and guess what? Moen tells me I am out of luck because their "lifetime warranty" is only for the original homeowner. Wow, what a scam. Their customer service is *so* excellent that the supervisor actually sounded happy when I shared I would be leaving this 1-star BBB review. Yikes. We are business owners and if we ran our business like this, we wouldn't be around long. At least this gives me an opportunity to switch to a different brand of faucet that will last for the longhaul. Stay away from these garbage Moen products!Review from S. R.

I’d give zero stars if I could. Our home builder chose Moen products for all our faucets and shower heads. Half of them have corroded. But wait, they have a lifetime warranty! Called in and they will find any excuse not to abide by their warranty. I’m the original homeowner and provided pics of their crap products corroding at the base as well as provided all the required paperwork but because my house is now a rental they will not cover the warranty. It shouldn’t matter who lives in the house. Their products would still corrode whether I lived there or not. Their one star reviews all pretty much have the same complaints with products corroding and terrible customer service. Their loss as they have lost a customer for life as I will never give them another dime of mine. Do better Moen!!!Moen Incorporated Response

We do apologize for the experience the consumer has had in attempting to obtain warranty service. Moen's product warranties vary based on the setting they are installed in. Residential/Multi Family/Commercial settings carry different warranties. If the property the fixtures are installed in is considered a Rental then it would fall under our Multi Family warranty which would carry a 5yr coverage period if the unit was purchased before 5/1/2016 and 10yr coverage period if purchased after 5/1/2016. Warranty terms can be viewed here https://www.moen.com/warranties/ten-year-multi-family-faucet-limited-warranty.Customer Response

The problem I have with this information is that the product would still corrode regardless of who is living in the residence. Quality is quality! I get it if I ran into issues because the tenant was abusing or misusing the product, that’s not the case. I’m the original owner and that house just recently became a rental. Moen is looking for any reason not to back their products. If you look at all the one star reviews on this product you’ll see the complaints are that the product corrodes. If you don’t want to back your products, don’t give out a lifetime warranty then give poor excuses as to why you don’t cover it! I stand behind my comments and will never purchase anything Moen going forward.Review from Jane W

No control over their product distributors and refuse to warrant their products once a distributor inspects a returned product and finds it to be in acceptable condition to resell the product and they (distributor) even advertise it with the warranty on the website. They do not even know who their distributors are. This company is a joke and has not integrity a $600 kitchen faucet breaks after one year and its a $300 part to repair it such low quality products. Avoid this crooked company at all costs.Moen Incorporated Response

We do apologize for the experience the consumer has had with their Moen fixture. Unfortunately we were unable to locate a record under the email attached to this complaint. If I understand the complaint correctly, the consumer purchased a "Used/Like New" product from a Moen Vendor. Typically Used/Like new products would only carry a warranty from the seller and not the manufacturer since the item being sold is not "New". Moen does not sell Used/Like New Products to consumers and unfortunately we cannot guarantee the performance of the product. This is also the reason for a lower price point from vendors. In order for us to look into this further we would need the purchase receipt along with a link to the Vendor's web page detailing the warranty that is being offered.
