Made arrangements to raise the canopy on our large maple in the front yard, remove a quite large evergreen shrub in the back yard and top 2 trees. 4 days later the crew shows - with advance notice of their arrival. Eight members of the crew, cherry picker, chain saws, wood shredder. 1-2-3 the work is done properly, clean up is perfect. And they even shaped one of the trees that was topped in order to improve it's appearance. The cost was reasonable. Definitely would hire Rice Tree Service in the future and highly recommend them for their competence, quality of work, work ethic and fee structure.Review from Connie H

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value I hired them three years ago for lawn service and snow removal. First of all, they are very expensive. They require full payment at beginning of the season. They charge for services they don't perform and are very unprofessional. They have charged for lawn cutting in the summer for a number of weeks they did not cut it. They charged for more leaf cleanups in the fall than they actually did. Their snow plow has damaged my driveway and dented my fence. The owner denied doing so, but an expert verified that the driveway was damaged by the snowplow. The owner of the company not only overcharges, but he does not own up to the damage they cause. I have had to have my fence repaired and now I have to have my driveway repaired.Review from Sue L.

I got an estimate to remove a huge locust tree from my front yard. It was very close to power and cable lines and was probably 70 feet tall. Two days later, they said they had a cancellation and asked if they could come out the next morning. Yes, please! This morning, seven trucks showed up with a cherry picker, tow motor, wood chipper, and so many workers! It was cold and raining. They were done in less than two hours and the yard looks amazing! It was worth it just for the show!

I am pleased to make this recommendation for Rice’s Tree and Landscaping. Over the past three weeks Rice’s removed two trees on my property. One was a 40 ft. Oak tree (crane needed) and the second one was a White Pine. My experience with them was outstanding. They were on-time, professional and made certain the clean-up was perfectly executed. I had five tree removal companies bid on the job and Rice’s pricing was very fair and guaranteed to complete the project within 4 weeks. Others, 6-8 weeks. Rice's Tree Service & Landscaping trimmed a neighbor's tree that was hanging over my fence and getting close to my house. They did a great job, exactly what I wanted. They were also very professional & friendly. They shredded the limbs they cut off the tree and even cleaned up all the mess! I am very impressed and pleased, would highly recommend and will definitely use them again!
