    I purchased furniture from Furniture Nook in North Royalton. The delivery on June 24th was an issue, the timing of the delivery was an issue and the product is damaged. I went to the store the next day Saturday 25th and showed them pictures of the damage and brought the shelves that were damaged. They said they will have their person contact me to fix the table top and will order me new shelves. 3 weeks later no one called me. I contacted them 2 other times. Meanwhile the store called me and said they have the shelves to come get them. I picked them up and the shelves were warped. On June 15th I called asking for a refund, they complained that I wasn't patient enough and that the economy is struggling. After arguing for 10-15 he threatened me and said come down here and we'll settle this. or something close to that. I said are you threatening me, he said to contact your lawyer. I said, hold on i'm going to record this conversation and he hung up on me. He also gave me 2 options keep the product and wait for the service guy to eventually fix it or pay 20% restock fee and delivery fee. I said it's already been 3 weeks... and the product is defective why would I pay a fee!!! And the stain inside the TV stand wasn't completed. Total purchase was almost $4k I want my money back and not to deal with this company again.

    RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN! We have been ghosted multiple times by owner Gary after our several attempts to resolve an issue with the custom dining set we purchased over 4 years ago. We purchased $10k worth of furniture from their store in 2019. For the dining table set, I asked the owner's wife if a rough sawn table top would be flat enough that a plate wouldn’t wobble. I was assured that was true. Our table’s surface is so uneven that we have to be very careful with where cups and plates are set so they don’t wobble and spill. After a few months, the finish began flaking off. We thought it was from a piece of scotch tape used to hold a protective covering on the table for a brief time. But, over time, finish has flaked off around all edges of the table, with regular use. Also, 3 screw heads used to mount the top to the brackets underneath have fallen off. This table does not get moved around; it has always remained in the same place, so they must have been overtightened during assembly. I emailed Gary my concerns in mid-2020. He offered to run the top through a sander and was going to check into the finish concerns. He said he could pickup the table in about a month. I reached out 2 months later, and he said he’d get it within a few weeks. Two more months went by, so I reached out again. This time – no response. I reached out again another 4 months later (early 2021)…nothing. An entire year went by and we heard nothing. By this time, we had 3 young kids, so it was hard to find the time to follow-up. My husband finally went to the store in early 2022 to talk to Gary directly. He claimed he “hadn’t forgotten about us” and would reach out soon to arrange pickup of our table. Two years later, and we’ve still heard nothing from him. So, we are stuck with a several thousand-dollar piece of furniture for which we can get no remedy because of Furniture Nook’s awful customer service. I strongly suggest you save yourself the headache and time, and shop elsewhere!
