Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Northeastern Ohio is a not-for-profit corporation organized for the purpose of providing free, comprehensive financial education and counseling services to clients relating to consumer credit and money management. The CCCS Debt Management Program (DMP) is a structured debt repayment program that can assist people in reducing or paying off debt. Webvisor is a free, confidential, self-guided counseling program available on the agency's website. As HUD approved agency, CCCS also provides comprehensive housing counseling, including counseling for those delinquent on their mortgages or who are considering a reverse mortgage loan. Approved by the Executive Office of the U.S. Trustees, CCCS offers the required bankruptcy counseling and education services. CCCS also teaches financial education skills and concepts through community and on-line programs.
