Complaint: When looking for an apartment in august 2014, we wanted a short term lease of 6 months do to myself enterin the navy in Virgina. *** which is apartment manager told us there is no 6 month leases they are all 12 month nothing less. he talked us into apartment which is 1 bed. for $598.00 with full deposit. in advertisment it was org. 545.oo so right there they where lying. i needed a place close to home so my friend & i took place. I later referred my uncle who is currently in marines to this place & when he called fodor house. ***** office manager told him yes we have 6 month leases. so i called to confront her about 6 mo term & she agreed there was & not sure why *** apt. manager told us that from this point i have been trying to contact mark/manager of all apartments at fodor house company & he refuses to call back & tells ***** to tell us there is nothing to talk about he is not letting us off the 12 mo lease to 6 mo lease thats all we asked for. I currently lost my job. moved back home & notified them of this through via fax & my roommate is still residing there however my cousin ***** who co-signed for us & IS ALSO IN NAVY in virgina just completed his 4 yr term. is still stuck in this 12 mo lease. this place lied to us & false advertisement. please help us so they do not do this to anyone else. i dont even live there my roommate does i want my name & cousins who co-signed off this lease immediately. we stayed our term please remove us..
Desired Settlement: since i k now longer reside there take me & my cousin who co-signed off lease. we are in navy base or end this lease to 6mo like it should have been...not 12mo they lied to us to trap young adults for payment...

On August 15, 2014 we received an application for ******* ****** and ******** ******. It was determined that in order for them to rent the suite they needed a co signor/guarantor. Subsequently all parties singed a one year lease which included a free month's rent. In
On December 17, 2014 ******* ****** called the office and informed us that ******** ****** was moving from the premises because she lost her job.
Also note that market conditions often dictate what and when we provide different incentives for prospective tenants. At the time the above referenced signed the lease the incentive
