Complaint: I scheduled to have 2 movers at the rate of $95.00 per hour to move me from my apartment. Instead, Weiss Movers sent over 3 movers at the rate of $135.00 per hour without any notification nor approval from me. I have spoken with ******, the owner, and asked for a reimbursement for the difference between the $95.00 per hour and the $135.00 per hour but she refused. Also, their movers were 35 minutes late for the scheduled arrival time, and when they were finished, they did not ask me to check the contents of the truck to verify that they had removed all of my contents. (I did ask them 3 times if all of my items were removed from the truck.)This is bad business for Weiss Movers to make a significant change by adding an additional cost to the customer without prior approval.

Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $120.00 since I did not request to have 3 men for my move.

Dear Ms ******,

I have enclosed paperwork relating to Ms *********'s move on Saturday November 17, 2012.

Ms ********* did request two (2) movers to complete her move, we did send three (3) men, and yes the rate

is different so is the duration of the move. 3 movers completed her move in 3.5 hours costing her $627.50, 2

movers would have completed her move in perhaps S hours costing her $590.00-this is an estimate. I

refunded to her $100.00-just because she was so unhappy. She did tell me that the guys did not invite her up

into the truck, there is always an insurance issue of a customer walking up the walk board, and I believe the

weather was inclement. I understand she may have felt thwarted but there were no missing items. As a

matter of fact, as a parting shot to me, she told me the fabric under her couch and love seat had come

unstapled, with no hesitation I sent her a serviceman to take care of said issue. I really had no idea if this

happened on our move or if an animal or her vacuum did the damage.

I believe Weiss Movers took care of Ms *********'s move in a professional and business like manner. If you
