Complaint: I hired Sharp Edge LLC to cut down a tree and trim another and they did a great job Fall 2013. I also got a estimate to level My front lawn and seed the area. The original estimate was $300.00 they did the work in late spring 2014 (it was hot already) and they billed me $450.00 and my wife paid the bill within 30 days. I watered every day for a half hour for over a month and no grass just weeds. I called and spoke to *** He told me they planted to late in spring and they would come back in the fall and kill the weeds and plant new grass. At the end of August a crew showed up without notice and told me they came to reseed I asked about the weeds and they told me another specailist would be by to take care of the weeds. Again I watered about 2 weeks later Aqua the water company, came by to reseed the area they had worked on during the summer, there area now has grass. I have 2 calls into Sharp edge no answer just weeds and bare spots. Please resolve this issue.

Desired Settlement: I want $100.00 REFUND and I'll do the work myself.

Business Response: To Whom it May Concern,

In regards to Mr. ***** complaint. We did exactly as we told him we were going to and do the same process everywhere. We installed grass seed and it did not grow due to poor aftercare. The seed we used at his place we used everywhere else and it grew in and grows just fine. The only reason a lawn does not come in is either weather related or poor aftercare like not enough water. As for the weeds, weeds grow when nothing else does. If he would have propeerly taken care of the lawn in the first place weeds would have never grown. Also, weeds are annuals, they die off in the winter. There is no reason to treat weeds this time of year when they are just going to die on there own soon anyways. Any lawn care professional will tell you the same thing. I can not continue to go over there are reseed his lawn for free if he is not going to do his part. Mr. **** has called numerous times and we have tried to be professional with him but he is very rude on the phone and very hard to deal with. As far as we are concerned there is nothing else we can do for him. We decline his offer.
