Complaint: I had waterproofing done on my crawlspace by this company due to mold in my crawlspace. I then had insulation put in. When I had survey for energy conservation, they found that I had water and mold in my crawlspace again. This was only a little over a year from the waterproofing. I contacted Mr. ******** and he investigated and said that he did not know where the water was coming from. He was going to contact my insulation person and come up with a plan. This was in May, 2012. I did not hear from him and did contact my insulation person who said he had not talked to him but he couldn't fix the insulation until the water problem was resolved. I need Mr. ******** to resolve this problem so that I can get rid of the mold in my crawlspace. I have left four messages over the past month and have not received a return call. I want to know if he is going to figure this out or if he cannot. I need some answers. I am very frustrated.
Desired Settlement: waterproof of crawlspace redone or tell me what the problem is so that I can get it fixed.
Consumer Response: Response taken by phone (**): Consumer called to indicate business had been out to look at her crawlspace, although it took multiple phone calls per day to get a returned call. Since March, the water has not returned despite recent heavy rains. Business was unable to diagnose how water entered, but offered possible repairs if it does return. Consumer indicated that insulation company is replacing insulation at no charge. Since complaint was primarily about Adelmo's slow response, and owner did come out to attempt to diagnose issue, consumer states OK to close complaint as resolved.
BBB's Final Determination: Business resolved the complaint issues, but not within BBB's timeframe. The complainant acknowledged acceptance to BBB.
