Florists
When doing business with a florist, keep the following in mind:
* Be sure to check out the store's refund policy if the flowers arrive late, or are in bad condition.
* Get a written receipt for the order you place. On it should be the price, what was ordered, time of delivery, location.
* Get several recommendations from friends and family.
* When ordering flowers for a wedding, inform the florist of your budget and make sure he or she sticks to it. Indicate your desired arrangement, request a sample and make as few changes as possible. This will insure that you will keep the cost at or close to what you want to spend.
* When ordering a large amount, get a written contract from the company, again, including price, what was ordered, time of delivery, location.
* Make a list of everything that was ordered so when the flowers are delivered, you can check to see if anything is missing from the order.
