            I received a bid for replacement of an electric panel and wiring from Bertke Electric. Their records indicate 7/16/21. I was told the work might be the last week of July or first week of August at the earliest with a tentative date of 7/30/21. I received additional bids. Subsequent estimates said replacing the entire line from basement to roof was not necessary. I called Bertke several times to convey I did not want them to do the work and why. I didn't hear back so I called again early on 7/26. This time someone from Bertke answered and said they had cancelled the work. There was no mention of a charge of any kind. More than a month later, at the end of August (28th), I received a bill from Berke for material charges for material they couldn't take back. I responded with an email, explaining that I thought this was unwarranted. I will upload the email. Electric panels don't cost over 500.00. ******* said they take unused panels back. Likewise* **** ***** and ******. I didn't hear any reply from Bertke to my email. Recently I received another bill, $522.89 with interest charges of 18% per year. So I would like the matter resolved.
