My husband and I purchased a bay window in February of 2023. The window was installed in June of 2023 and had major defects on the exterior as well as the window not opening because the crank wasn't working properly. We received a window with paint chipping in multiple areas when Colorbond is supposed to have a lifetime warranty. We then started the process of getting the window replaced and that is where the nightmare really began. We have never been treated this way by a company in our lives. We were told we had unrealistic expectations by the installation manager and after refusing two windows they brought as replacements because they were worse than the original we finally accepted a window they brought as a replacement at the end of February 2024.It still had some chips and we did ask for touch up paint which we still have yet to receive. The glass also has a major blemish in it as well as scratches and they are supposed to replace that. We were trying to be "realistic" as the installation manger put it and knew we were never going to get the product that was promised to us, so against our better judgement we accepted the third replacement. Now that we have had the window over a month it is not holding up to the elements at all. The Colorbond is cracking and peeling in multiple places. I can only imagine what this window will look like in a year and it is supposed to last 20+. This 1 bay window was $9,000 and when you have the nerve to ask that they provide the product you paid for they treat you like a criminal. They threatened to turn us into collections. They have never once apologized to us and continually act like we are in the wrong. We have had to take off work multiple times for them to bring the replacements and yet no remorse and no resolution. Please do not make the same mistake we did. This company is scamming hard working people and it is wrong.
