2/11/2014 First off I would like to say that I have been with this service provider for almost 2.5 years now. One would think that kind of loyalty would earn you some respect but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be LightSpeed's way. The service for a first year or so was great we started with ventrilo and had little problems, the occasional downtime had some very laggy server issues for a little while there but everything got resolved in a timely manner. I have upgraded and downgraded the server package as out number group and shrink we have had as little as 6 or 7 people on our server and at most 20ish. We moved over to teamspeak after a while and much enjoyed how customizable it was but a couple months later is when our real issues started. I honestly have lost count of for how long the service has turned to ****. I would estimate around six months ago. Disconnects and server downtime became the norm, skype started getting used and several users basically just quit coming onto TeamSpeak because of the issues. We started getting "robotic voice" for people on different connections (oddly enough most of the time is was only 75% of the server that had issues and no one could understand them but the other 25% could be heard loud and clear.) This robotic voice has the the plague for these last (six months?) and comes back at the best of times and stays usually for several hours. I have contacted live help on several occasions probably 2 times a month or so and all I ever get is "we are looking into it"... Blah blah blah issue never resolved. Due to little to no help from technical support I have decided its time for my clan to pack our bags and move on. Its sad to have to leave a service after so long but they have left us no choice. I have cancelled my service and we may or may not use the remaining days but I am in search of better voice-chat hosting now. I don't think it would be fair to rate their service a "0" because up until six months ago their service was fine however my experience with them has been more then frustrating

Comment from the Business *******, thank you for your comments today. I would like to apologize personally and reflect on the mentioned six months and one-time issue we had today. Distributed denial of service attacks (DDoS) have increased in size and popularity at an alarming rate causing many services to be impacted. Over the past six months time we have completed an extensive migration of our network to a new DDoS mitigation provider. With this new provider it has allowed for an increased capacity for DDoS mitigation. During this phase we encountered various unexpected hurdles and challenges requiring constant change and improvement. Unfortunately, this means loyal customers such as yourself had degraded service at times. Every call and complaint is taken seriously and investigated to the best of our ability. Some changes required weeks for network engineers to get the required equipment and software in place to make a positive impact. Today we received the largest attack ever targeted toward one of our TeamSpeak 3 servers. This attack was over 120 Gigabit per second and 30 million packets per second. For perspective this attack was roughly 1/3 the largest ever recorded DDoS attack (http://www.itnews.com.au/News/372033,worlds-largest-ddos-strikes-us-europe.aspx). Because of this attack an automated filter was applied incorrectly at our DDoS mitigation provider which inadvertently dropped traffic toward our entire network for 20 minutes. This filter caused all of our protected services, including web servers, to be unreachable. For the last ten years and into the future we are here to battle whatever challenges we come to face. The incodent today is currently under investigation and nearly all previous challenges have been solved. 11/18/2013 I have used this service for my Team Speak service for 2 months now and have had several down times. It is down again today and when try to do live chat with them they are not available. Submitted a support ticket and waiting for a response. The last time is was down was less than a week ago and was close to 18 hours down. I am very unhappy with this service so far.

Comment from the Business Thank you for your comments today. There was an incident lasting 5+ hours specific to the hardware your server was running upon. Today the hardware failed again- (but is currently running as normal) and we will be moving all customers off of that hardware tomorrow morning.
