Complaint: Karl Mattes is a good company and had performed wonderful services for us. They provided us with a proposal that we agreed to and signed. On the proposal it clearly states that if the pricing changes or if any additional work needs to be done, it has to be presented in writing. And we have to agree to it. The proposal stated the price was $975.00 This was agreed to. And we have paid it. When the invoice was sent it was for $1155.00. This is an additional $180 for some flutes I think. This was never presented to us in writing. And therefore we certainly never agreed to it. In our experience, we have been dealing with various contractors for various home projects. And we are always given a final price that we agree upon before the work is done. We have not had this situation before.

Desired Settlement: As stated before, we paid the price that was agreed upon. We do not agree to the increased payment. I will attach the original agreement to this complaint. We have also received a PAST DUE NOTICE in the mail for the $180.

Business Response: I spoke with *** ******** daughte* ******* (who has been handling this matter) the evening of October 27th and resolved the matter. I am sending an itemized proposal and other materials to the ******* today. Thank you.
