      I trusted this business to reupholster some antiques. It took longer than expected for them to return the items, and when they were returned, the main item, a settee, was done incorrectly; the wrong fabric was used. They had also written the instructions incorrectly on the invoice, but offered to redo the settee for only the cost of the fabric. I agreed, however, I was then quoted $400 per yard for the fabric which was purchasable online for $150. It seemed to me they were just going to charge me full price to do the settee over again under the guise that I was only paying for the fabric. Because I was upset, he offered to do my dining room chairs for free. I didnt want my chairs done but he was adamant and proceeded to take them into his van and leave. I sent him texts that same day asking him to please return my chairs, that I only wanted the settee redone. He said he would return them, but never did. Several months later when I was literally in tears asking for my chairs, he said he had already stripped the fabric off of them and lied to me saying I wanted the chairs done even though there are text messages proving otherwise. He also lied saying I asked for the chairs back 4 weeks later, even though there is a text exchange proving otherwise. I screenshot and sent that exchange back to him but he did not address it. Additionally I believe I was overcharged $800 for services and have been asking him to check on this for several months. He keeps saying I will get back to you in 24 hours and then doesnt get back to me. It has been 10 months now that I dont have dining room chairs. I keep texting asking for my chairs but it seems they dont seem interested in returning them or resolving the issue. I picked a fabric 2 months ago for the side chairs because they were stripped, but he still hasnt returned the chairs. I keep texting asking for an update on the chairs and the $800 credit but I dont get a straight answer.
