Complaint: My name is Guadalupe *****. I purchashed windows from Windows and Siding Unlimited of LaSalle, Illinois on 05/23/2007. Said purchase included a lifetime transferable warranty on window frame and sash members, hardware components and colored windows, insulated glass units, glass breakage, et al. Of the 13 windows purchased, the bottom pane of one did break circa February 2015. Since that time, I have made at least seven attempts to reach the company via its local ("815") number and 800 number only to receive the same outgoing message from a female employee of the company and no response from an actual human being. It's beyond obvious that I am being ignored as the company renders inept customer service. Therefore, I have elected to submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau so as to enlist the help of a legal third party to facilitate communication and honoring of the company-issued warranty on its product.
Desired Settlement: I would like the company to honor the warranty presented to me and replace the window pane that has cracked. I would also like for them to caulk the inside of the windows as they caulked only a few and left the rest without any caulk.

Complaint: I order 9 windows from Windows & Siding Unlimited on 7/25/2013. The sales person was ***** ******* They were installed during 8/2013.The day they were finished installing the windows I made the installer ***** ************* Carpentry) aware of a scratch in one of the windows and the fact that the screens on several windows were not covering the drain holes. He told me that's how the rain water gets out. I said that's how bugs get in. My next door neighbor had new windows installed and his screens covered the drain holes. Also one of my windows had automatic locks. None of the others did.Both Mr ****** and the installer Mr ****** said this would be fixed. Mr ****** said Mr ****** would handle the problem. Mr ****** said he would take pictures and send them to the mfg.I called them numberous times and Mr. ****** said they would be out. Never heard from them. Called again in December. They brought the wrong replacement window and wanted to put some type of bandaid on the screens. They said the mfg. recommended this. They were to order a new window. We were to let the screens go until the cold weather let up.I had been in the hospital for six weeks and called Mr ******* on 5/27/14. He called and said he would call back in 4 hours. He never did. I called the mgf. today and they said they knew nothing about the screens and a second new replacement window was not ordered. They never received pictures of the screens or the scratched window.
