Complaint: The Bridgeport Citizens Group, which runs the local the neighborhood community watch program, has received numerous calls asking for confirmation of Security Solutions flyer taped to private residences in the last 24 hours. The flyers claim affiliation with "Neighborhood Watch Program" although the company is unknown to the the 9th District Police CAPS Office or the Bridgeport Citizens Group. The exact wording of the flyer reads "Security Solutions is pleased to present this certificate for a: FREE* Home Security System Compliments of Neighborhood Watch Program" Furthermore: the flyer cites BBB accreditation although the phone number and contact information given differs from that listed on the BBB website.

Desired Settlement: The Bridgeport Citizens Groups asks that Security Solutions, Inc immediately stop all advertising with the phrase "Security Solutions is pleased to present this certificate for a: FREE* Home Security System Compliments of Neighborhood Watch Program". Furthermore, we request that Security Solutions, Inc. immediately take out a 1/2 page advertisement in the Bridgeport News, the local weekly paper (), retracting their claim and apologizing to the members of the Community Watch.*****************************
