In 2012 Augy's roofing installed a new roof on my house. I had 2 existing skylights that were present before I moved in. He didn't indicate there being any problems. I started having problems with leaking within the first 3-4 years. When I called he came out with his lead man who climbed up and checked things out. I was told the sky lights needed to be resealed. They did and all was OK for a while. Another 3 years rolls by and now I have more leaks. I called again. he and his lead man came out and re-sealed the sky lights a second time and that should be good for 10 years. Mind you the new roof and shingles are under a 50 year warranty. I continued to have leaks spout up in my kitchen . Ruined a relatively new paint job/ My kitchen ceiling has a crack , several water spots and one is mold. I called Augy a third time in 2017/2018 and took off a half day's work. The deal he and I made on the phone was to reseal the lights a third time to get me through the Winter months and in the Spring we would completely replace the sky lights thinking that was the only thing wrong. He never came to our scheduled appointment. He never called to cancel or apologize. He failed at answering all my calls. Fast forward to 2020. I have since learned that my roof is sinking, wood is rotting. I had 3 people out to look at it. It had waves of warped roofing in between the 2x4 rafters. I got estimates to have it repaired. Each time I was told it was not installed properly. I had the ****************** guy come out to take inventory of both the roof and the internal water damage. All 3 roofers I had out including the Insurance person said the same thing. They have never seen anything this bad. There were several weak spots. The sky light seals were cracked badly. He failed to put guards around the pipes in the roof and he failed to put a snow and ice shield on the pitch of my house. That failure allowed years of wind, rain, snow and ice to continue to seep under the shingles causing the wood to rot and form soft spots and waves. I had to have another contractor repair and replace out of my pocket because insurance would not cover it as they viewed as a maintenance thing or poor labor. Augy's roofing has a 10 yr warranty on Workmanship. Not only did he fail to install properly. he failed to return my calls. He failed to show up for a scheduled meeting. And he failed to cover his 10 year workmanship warranty and his 50 year shingle warranty. I am a single Mom and he did me dirty. I WOULD NEVER ********* HIM TO ANYONE and I am spreading the word around. A one-star rating in my opinion is too generous of a rating because he deserves **** stars!! If I had the money to *** him I would in a heart beat because it cost me all my savings for a dependable car instead going to a *** roof that was supposed to be covered and he cost me a paint job in my home to the tune of $3800. ******* also has to be replaced now due to his negligence. DO NOT *** HIM. You will regret it!! "
