I have been waiting for many months to write a review because I was hoping things would turn around, but the honest truth is, the people at this company are not good people. There were a couple of things wrong with our camper upon deciding to buy it. But we were ASSURED they would be taken care of when we came in to sign for it. Then at signing, we were assured by 2 others that the issues would be fixed by delivery. Even with a call in to make sure things were happening, delivered and come to find out problems were not even addressed AFTER 3 TIMES them telling us they were being taken care of. THIS WAS OCTOBER! Now, after several times being put off, it April and our camper is in for repair. Been there for almost a month and still not done! Literally every conversation with every person there is lip service. Not good people. Also 5000 worth of hidden fees. This was supposed to be an exciting purchase and experience for our family but it has been anything but.Review from Craig I

would never purchase off Camping World ********* again. the sales team were good but had nothing but trouble with the finance. Do not purchase from Camping World *********! they have owed us $15,000 for a add on that we canceled 2 hours after we agreed to it, and have been waiting 2 months for the money to be paid back off our loan! still am getting the run around, and I'm still paying interest on money that we didn't use! DO yourself a favor and purchase elsewhere!!Review from tyler s

New camper was being advertised as $122 a month after a 15% down payment for qualified buyers both on the ** website and as a sticker on the camper itself. While looking, I asked the salesperson, ****** if this unit would be the one we'd be taking home or if it'd be a different one.She told me that it would be this one.I had expressed the plan to put $2100 down. I applied and received a call from Abbie. The numbers that she shared with me were coming out to $188 a month after a $2700 down payment. I was perfectly calm despite being very frustrated by the fact that apparently Camping World forgets that each camper sold will have taxes and other fees. I asked ***** why the camper was being advertised at $122 and she explained that this was possible for A rated credit (mine is 788).She then admitted that this is mostly an "advertising technique".I expressed my frustration with this "technique" and ***** expressed understanding. She spoke to her manager and then called me back. She called back soon after and told me she had new numbers with the down payment being lowered to $2000 but nothing else. I expressed my frustration with the company's unethical and immoral sales tactics and my plans to report this to the BBB. She was apologetic and friendly and offered to have a manager call me. I declined knowing that it's the managers who deploy these unethical practices. I admit, and would like to apologize to *****, that at this point I asked her why she felt okay with working for such an unethical company. I should not have made it personal towards her. She became defensive of the company. She moved towards gaslighting me for daring to call out the company's morals stating that companies all other the world use these same tactics and that it being immoral was a subjective opinion.I argued that lying to get people's money is objectively immoral. I am angry that these tactics are considered legal anywhere.I will not be gaslit into thinking I'm the one wrong for not accepting it.Review from Christopher K

Zero stars! I have had nothing but problems with a Colman camper that I bought new from CW. I have had a leaking roof, leaking plumbing, wireing problems, hot water heater problems, trim falling off, I feel the camper is junk and the sevice department is horrible. My camper has been with them almost 2 months for a job that should be done in a couple of daysReview from Luis F

****** ********* is the rudest general manager I've ever spoke with. Inquired about a trailer and asked if there was any way they could work with me and he replied with sarcasm. Same with his sales rep ***** ********, very rude and sarcastic. God bless them and hope they work for this company for a long time.Review from Mark B

They are horrible, I purchased travel trailer one week ago. The salesman said the service department put the camper in over 100 points service checks before I receive it. The following things wrong with it.1. When i got it home the floor was covered with mud.2. I was told by ***** (another salesman) that my 5 month old ****** Titan would be fine to pull it. On the way home the transmission but up.3. I had to go spend another $55,000 for a new truck that would pull it.4. No one explained where the fuses for 12 volt and 110 were. 5. They told me they are putting a temporary tag on it and asked 3 times for one and still have not got it a week later.6 Front door latter does not lock it place , the ladder flops against the door in transit.7. I was promised a ****** pin for hitch to hold ball in and never received it. 8. Kitchen faucet is leaking water in sink and no water in tank.9. Battery is dead.10. ****** promised it I bring in Friday 4/5/24 it would be ready to take home today. Service manager told me they don't know when it will be done. The salesman (*********************) will promise the moon and will not call me back. It has only been a week and I want my $56,000 back and the service manager said "well, you ain't getting your money back. I would not recommend Camping World in ********* to my worst enemy. Read all the other reviews on the internet. They are rated by the BBB as 1.Review from Xavier M

After having purchased a new trailer from Camping World in *********** **, with some problems including faulty brakes, I drove home to *******. When calling ****** (CW CEO) office I was told the ***************** Camping World would be contacting me for an appointment. I waited 4 days until finally calling THEM, and they acknowledged and set a date for me. I finally took it in and waited there over 4 hours for them just to tell me the brakes did not work. (Ok, I already KNEW that)So I left the trailer and waited- and waited- and waited, for a call, ANYTHING to acknowledge me, nothing. My calls are NEVER returned. I felt completely ignored.FINALLY on the 5th day, my service **** **** calls back and says he needs to speak to a warranty person first- So I wait- and wait, I call back 3 days later and he says he still hasnt heard from warranty person, that sometimes it could take a week. (WHAT?? Their warranty person is THERE!) So theyve still done NOTHING so far.Subsequently, in conversations with ****, I was always told I dont know WHO is going to pay for this over and over again. Like, thats MY problem? So after weeks, They finally decide to do SOMETHING, I am informed that the brakes were adjusted, so I drive the 30 miles to pick it up and, YEP, the brakes STILL do not work.A few days later they changed out some parts and call me that its finished, I asked did you test it? I was told oh, no, I AGAIN drive the 30 miles to find out the brakes STILL do NOT work.(Basic repairs 101 when you fix something you TEST it before releasing it, who trains these people?)So now more than 6 weeks and 3 useless trips, I get to see ******* and ***** and FINALLY, someone that listens and treats me like a human being.***** worked on it and explained everything in detail, but 2 days of good treatment do NOT make up for 6 weeks of TOTAL frustration and of being ignored by inept service reps. However, I STILL don't have viable brakes, bad trailer design? a lemon? ******Review from Tammy H

Bony forthcoming on the work completed, parts ordered, or work to be done. 3 new managers within 6 months of purchase. Beware if buying new.Review from Donald J

5 months and my 5th wheel is not repaired. The excuses for the delays are rediculas. I am still waiting for parts that they knew were needed when I dropped it off. In checking myself these parts are locally available today. Phone calls go with no return. Worst customer service I have ever seen, no one cares. If your RV needs repair this would be the last place to take it.Review from Albert M

My recent experience with Camping World RV repairs has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite shelling out a substantial $33,000 for comprehensive repairs, the service I received was far from satisfactory.Communication breakdowns, delayed updates, and unresolved issues with the leveling system have plagued my interactions with Camping World. Their incompetence and lack of accountability have left me deeply disappointed.Trust and safety concerns have also arisen. From questionable repair suggestions to compromising the safety of my RV, Camping World's actions have only fueled my doubts about their integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. The inconvenience and financial strain of multiple visits to their facility, coupled with the burden of undertaking lengthy journeys, have further exacerbated my frustration. In conclusion, I urge others to steer clear of Camping World for RV repairs. Their failure to provide a satisfactory resolution and their disregard for customer safety are unacceptable. Save yourself the hassle and seek assistance elsewhere.
