    I rented at *****************, ******, ** from 7/14/22 - 11/16/23. Before moving out I was told in a letter and verbally that I would receive a bill for final charges (utilities, etc for 11/1 - 11/16) about a week after our moving out and to check the online portal to pay. I kept checking every week and our account said $0 each time. On December 11th, I called and spoke to *****************************, property manager, ************, **************************** to ask where my bill was, she said she would check and call me back, but never did. On Dec. 16 I received a bill in the mail from a collection agency. Since I never received a bill I never had the opportunity to pay it! It was sent directly to collections! I again checked the portal and it still showed a $0 balance. I called the office and spoke to ************************* who stated that the ledger that on 11/22 all charges were written off she wasn't sure why - she sent us the ledger and said we needed to speak to *****************************. She advised that we should simply pay the collection agency which we refused to do. The ledger showed that we were wrongly charged for damage that was present when we moved in (noted on move in form attached). I emailed with ****** from 12/18 - 12/21. She insisted that I received a bill, which I did not and I sent a screen shot of the portal showing the $0 balance in our account, which we were then locked out of after speaking with ******* on the 16th. Finally, once pressed, she admitted that when she "did some digging" that we in fact were never sent a bill, and she would check into why and get back to us. She has not reached out since. We were wrongly sent to collections and charged for damage we did not do! Who sends someone to collections less than 30 days from date of charges without ever sending a bill? We requested to be removed from collections and sent a bill so we can pay them directly and have yet to hear back. We noticed others have complained about this same issue on the BBB site

    I'm in ****** and I have been waiting for 3 months just to receive my refund deposit due to an apartment I did not live in or take because of the condition they were in I was told the ******* corporate office sent out a check that I have not received i have asked someone to track it I get no answer only different numbers that no one answered I need to get in touch with someone
